Today I thought this.

Do you think a slot for essences like this may be positive for the different situations of the game? We can select the essences that we want according to the enemy and difficulty of the game.

Your design is ideal, especially if we can stick silver or specialty essences in there as well.

We'll have to wait to see what they give us, probably something simpler and more awkward.

 

I need a hotkey to switch essence as well, that way I don't have to stop fighting to them. It would be awesome to hit just one key as soon as I see a Mortis Priest and mow him down and move on with my greens.

 

If we are talking about essences...and I am sure this was brought up elsewhere but thought it worth repeating...It would be great to have a preference setting to automatically scoop them up and either deposit them in inventory or on the hot key. Or if not auto-pickup, at least have the option to either drop them in inventory or on the hot key.

I hate having to pick up essence, then open inventory to move it from my hot key to an appropriate slot.

 

This would be very cool. Right now I usually keep a stack of low level ess I get from lockpick farming in the slot just so I don't have to stop and move ess pickups into the right stack. Its just another thing that interrupts the flow.
