Tuning the difficulty level of mortis and destructor

    It's hard to look for party go kill these bosses due to the large amount of resources (ess, time, potions) required. Can moderators suggest to game developers about adjustments in the difficulty level of these bosses to the extent at least there are enough people to form party like khaly.

    Otherwise I wonder what's the point of releasing uniques items from these bosses when no one is going to kill them especially destructor. Some guilds may form part themselves but it's hard to find. Thanks!

    Mortis is easier now than he was a couple of months ago. It could be much harder, trust me.

    And on the topic of Destructor, the forums have been calling for a normal Destructor for ages. With a normal Destructor, people could complete the quest and have a good LVL 45 boss to farm but just make it so he doesn't drop the uniques except on Difficult. It is no different than Sigris or Gorga and I'm sure that it would be universally appreciated by the community... but it hasn't happened in the over 6 months that people have been begging for it.

    As I always said, there should be a normal mode for this kind of world boss for those F2P groups JUST for the sake of the quest. The drop rate for their unique can be 0 but the kill must count for the quest.

    Destructor is the game cash cow, seriously doubt they'll ever make it "normal". Need more essence and buffs for it than we ever did for Mortis. But then I'm sure the % of players who farm Destructor is very small so DSO has shot itself in the foot with that boss anyway.

    The point is that there are not enough people (especially lack of war) to form party to go to these bosses. Even if mortis is easier (which I am not sure since my stat changes from time to time), there has to be enough people willing to go especially war. And why is it bad to tune the difficulty level a bit lower to save resources (time, ess) which makes the farming experience more appealing?


    For the set-up of normal mode of destructor, what you suggeseted is for the quest completion, no uniques will be dropped. For me it's not that appealing at all, I would not go to the normal mode after 1-time quest completion since no uniques will be dropped. Who would farm the lvl 45 boss if no unique will be dropped??

    If unique only drops from the same difficulty level like it is now, it's again useless since no people will go for destructor simply because it's not worth the spending the tremendous resources with mere unique drop chance. So, almost no people are there to form party.

    I think even if there is normal and difficulty level of destructor. The difficult level should still be readjusted to the extent that people are willing / feel worth it to go form these bosses. Otherwise, it will be useless. No party could be formed

    If the normal mode is just for the quest and no unique will be dropped, who would go for normal mode again after quest completion?

    regarding to mortis : the problem is that the DK has to do all the work. Very few DK can take mortis down with blue. While a lot of SW and RA can go the mortis using blue only.

    There should be one free buff available in mortis courtroom which the tank can use. That more tank could go to mortis.

    I'm not the average DK, but still I can't kill mortis with purple before we run out of time and all thing explode ... it's a shame.

    sounds like your team sux(no offense)
    you should take mortis in the upper corner of the map there come a lot of souls but they get killed! , 2 players should stay in the left corner and shoot mortis(only few souls come there so they can shoot with blue ess in mortis without any problem) , 1 in the down corner and 1 in right corner , the player from the right corner can come and shoot from time to time in mortis too cuz its close .

    last time when i checked the gray button for "easy" destructor was disappeared so i think that there is not going to be easy version of this boss :)

    Yes if theres 1 guy in every corner and they still cannot keep all souls away from center they sux(IMO ofcourse) :D

    Yea, the problem is that success is almost entirely dependent on the DK. Sure you need a team that can handle the souls, but as it has been pointed out that they can get away with blues where as DK's almost always need purple or higher just to keep from dying. (Which wouldn't be too bad if you could craft essence or if purples and reds actually dropped in small amounts.)

    As to who would do a Destructor Normal... depending on just how much easier he would be and how good the drop rate for purples and legendaries, I would. Right now, the only two good places to farm for glyphs are Map2 and Khalys. If things were good enough, it could be an alternative for farming. Also, it would be a good place for LVL 45s to help lower level (44) guildies level up.

    In my opinion, Destructor normal can't be interesting for glyphs.
    The drop rate would be based on the normal mode, that means a little bit better than Gorga easy. ie nothing fancy most of the time, white and green items, sometime 12 cots or 14 andermants or essence/gems/magic/extra ... but not often.

    Well, u won't have an extra everytime u kill it, and even if it's easier, it would still be too long.
    - entering the room
    - activating the ram
    - cleaning little mobs (which give nothing !!)
    - knocking down the door
    - finally killing destructor normal (for 2 greens and coppers)

    Maybe they could change the whole process for destructor normal, skiping the first part, entering the room and fighting destructor straight away. Even I won't change my habits and still go for Khalys and M2 if I need some glyphs.

    I agree with 2nd statement, it would be a perfect place to level up.

    I guess they want to keep destructor as the 'big boss' for level 45, the one you farm hard(or pay lol) for, then the fight becomes a big thing.
    Problem is, the uniques are kind of outdated already lol I'm talking in compare to set&bonuses existing now. Probably about 6 or 7/10 on scale of low to perfect legendaries, not bad i guess if your mid range players of course, although the drop rates seem way too low for consistent farming.

    If you are looking for mostly critical damage and some base damage, Destructor's amulet would be about equal to a "perfect" legendary (10%, 10%, 10%, +25).
