Two questions for the Steam Mechanicus.

Hi.I'm creating this post to ask 2 questions for the SM.It will hopefuly help me and others as well.I will also try to create a poll.You will be able to pick multiple choices in the poll.Please only choose one equipment and talent object and nothing more.

1.Do you use the tool or the absorber?

2.Which lvl 35 talent do you use?The "Lucky Charm" or "Full Steam Ahead"?

I would also appreciate if you explain your choices so it can be even more helpful.Also if you can answer with both pvp and pve answers as well as p2p and f2p answers.

1. in 1-handed mode you need to get close. Your base armor is like SWs, and you better use absorber if you don't wanna die. Also, turrets cannot crit.
2. Full steam ahead, much stronger. If you can kill faster/ live longer will mean more killed mobs and therefore more drops.

 

Depends, with a 2h, you can snipe, and with decent crit + crit damage modifier...the damage is insane. I have 290% increase for crit damage with berach storm (level 25 with berach storm amazing with decent crit.) I usually use a turret, and run as far as I can towards the end of the red line, and camp the heck out of 5v5 flags lol.

1h, with tool great crit percentage aswell.

1h, with a shield, a little bit tanky, but SM is much weaker than the four so its harder to go solo with such short range, I prefer tools\2h.

 

I'm all gun and shield.. u can't do PW's with SM and not wear a shield cuz our turrets do AoE dmg and pull aggro from too many mobs that the tank can't hold aggro on.

HP Regen gear is our friend since we get one whole whopping stun and a SUPER SLOW teleport ability that most mobs hit u where u land

 

I go for 2 hand gun but hard to solo anything, nice to have a decent group around. but I cant give up the damage and range w 2 hander

 

I use deffensive absorber for pvp and tool for farming
The same for the lvl 35 skills Lucky Charm for pve and Full Steam Ahead for pvp
