    hi there... please moderators can lowering down the turrets damage in pvp for dwarfs..cause its realy not fair ...cause all he need is just place the turrets and run away and wait for exhustion time.. cause people now uploading videos on youtube about this and its realy not good for your game to look how stupid design

    Yes. bloodyneo, u are right. turrets is a very useful skill. player just throw it ,then run away to dodge enemies . And do it again.
    U don't have to worry the tower, it will not be destroyed. It cause physical damage, so there is no IMMUNE problem.
    Not only good for PVP, also PVE and Boss.

    So we got the DK's nerfed to the point where many quit the game, now we want SM's nerfed to the point where they are also useless. So which class should we go after next, mage or ranger? We should do it quickly though, sooner or later the new class will be created and we definitely want to get that class nerfed before too many start playing with it.

    Hi Ill use this post to start a conversation, a serious one about Balancing!
    Bloody started this , though it was looking like a cry it was not. Im not a pvper and I like only 6v6.

    Today i had this experience and im here to show on video (forgive me if i cant) what dwarfs can do:



    Im not really here to cry for pvp and fair battles since i know this is what moves DSO and gives them money.

    Im here to talk about a class that :

    1 - Have huge armor compared to other ranged classes
    2 - Regen Hp "ALL THE TIME" like no other classes
    3 - Regen Steam "ALL THE TIME" like no other classes

    There is no reason for a ranged class have all this combos agrouped!
    If there is , the other classes must be able to do the same! This is balancing.

    Huge armors and hp are meant for DKs that need to be melee.

    Rangers / SWs have less because ofc they are ranged. Why SMs can do it?

    In this video he regen 794hp/sec and refill himself with 30 stem/sec.

    In this video o clearly see the OP a sm class player is :
    1 - dumps tons of turrets of all types (i dont know the names) - He doesnt need to do nothing else but run
    2 - have his weapon atacks as usual
    3 - tesla coils
    +
    Regens (HP+SM)

    ---------> No one can across that barriers.
    For PVP that was ridiculous!

    And for PVE? Im a lvl 50 PVE player , and i can say , there is no other class that can do it. A SM can go all bosses (balor , mortis ) solo. I die solo on all of them because rangers cant regen hp this way , neither concentration. I believe SWs are in the same case. DKs till I see or they go 2H and die like RA and SWs or they go Tanky with 0 dmg.

    The class balancing im talking is : A SM can go with tanky + dmg + all regen skills.

    What else a player need?

    The 30 steam/sec isn't a refill, its what happens when a turret ends. That tells you he invested 10 points into the steam wisdom talent.

    794 hp regen means that his hp is about 15880.

    It looks like he is also 1H with a vargulf shield and black warlord set from dragan event. That means he has at least 3k armor, 80% block rate and 61% block strength. He probably has little to no crit or crit damage. Its hard for me to tell, but it looks like he might also have full sparks set as well.

    Between the dragan set and the steam talent, he gets 3 turrets, so he probably also has some other steam boosting gear to get him 4 turrets worth of steam - possibly ring of fortitude, agrashas torso or a full bevy of solstice stars or even the avenger gun.

    I'm not what his left side gear is, but my guess is that it is mostly hp and damage oriented.

    I have a very similar setup, but i only get about 11500 hp if 25 wisdom points in damage and 25 in health. And 9500 hp if 25 wisdom points in damage, 15 hp, and 10 in that steam talent. He probably has a ton of hp gems (sacreds or higher would be my guess)

    He's got a really well optimized build for 6v6 and knows what he is doing with his turret skills. Using 2 tactical turrets and 2 mech turrets in that narrow spot isincredibly effective.

    Same possible values for armor and HP as a ranger. The main diff is that when farming, they always have a SM in their group and can demolish mobs fast ;)

    The main factor tipping the balance allowing the steam mechancus unlimited resources is the Tactical Turret. Without it, steam becomes a much more valuable resource and they would have to choose between healing and dealing damage. With it, the SM is unstoppable in both PvP and PvE.

    Steam is supposed to be scarce, that is why it has the lowest regeneration rate of all classes. As much as I hate to admit it, PvP is becoming ridiculous-ly predictable for a SM and I avoid 1v1 out of boredom and sanity for other players. Also, rangers tend to have the easiest time taking down a SM using their burst damage.

    Tactical turret is pretty good in this space. And i think he has 5 and possibly all 10 experience points in it. If he has 10, that might explain the +40 steam regens i'm seeing as well, as the 5 point talent comes with a 20% steam regen, which would suggest about 200 steam.

    My guess is he is also using the 2 and 3 point talents for mech turret, and the 2, 3, and 5 for tactical turret, and the 3 and 5 for steam conductor for 5% hp regen and 15 points of ateam each use. Really good synergy for an enclosed space, and pretty much fatal for a glass cannon ranger or sw since you don't have enough hp or armor to get through.

    What should you do - gear up with hp, armor, and block gear to get past the turrets and the attack the big turret. Also, consider tweaking your talents towards survivability during the small window you can switch them in pvp.

    In that video, we see two things.
    1. A very smart and well optimised SM.
    2. A ranger making the noob mistake of trying to fight the SM where the SM has the advantage. Never fight on you opponents terms.

    If it weren't for the fact that the rest of the attacking team was smart and used their temporary immunity to get past that death trap, it would have been a very easy defend for the blue team. If everyone played like that ranger, then red wouldn't have stood a chance.

    3. The red team have no team strategy at all. Just notice they are doing all different things ... one is trying to kill the SM ... two are running to the main tower ... and the rest "took the bait" from that ranger in the back and they were chasing him instead of progressing. Not a single singularity from those mages ...
    In this kind of situation everyone from the team should focus on building the first base ... because it heals you and giving you advantage.
    Of course you can all run to the main tower ... if you are all strong enough ... but they are not.

    One advice: use the terrain ... there are places where the turrets can't reach you.

    It is always easier to discuss the best strategy when you are the spectator. I fought with this SM hundred times and can't find any things good to beat him. Trust me, i have many years of background in pvp and lots of cash put in my characters. Losing is part of life, the only thing i hate is when a new class spent less time and less money and beat us the way he did. It is called injustice isn't it?

    True, but when you keep running into a death trap like that and the same thing happens again, and again, and again... you think it would be time to adjust your strategy.

    This is exactly the same as every other "this class needs nerfed thread".

    Someone loses to one OP player and all the sudden the whole class needs nerfed. If SM's are so god like, why not create one and rule the pvp boards instead of complaining about it?

    On that note... nerfs are coming for the RA and SM... no shock with how much people have been complaining... next on the chopping block: SWs! Let's start one of those threads to speed today process up. Pretty soon, we'll all be too weak to survive the Fatal PWs.

    Why don't people get it that if they keep asking to nerf other classes, eventually their own class will get nerfed.
    What goes around comes around.
    Wouldn't it be nicer to ask for your own class to get improved instead of asking to weaken another class?

    We'll all get nerfed now to the dust until the tanks are gonna be op again :D (by comparison)
    I was relying on the 770% power of the explosive shot for mini boss kills. Now I got left with 670% :/

    And in fatal mode, mini bosses have INSANE HP and they'll all start complaining that pws are so hard. WHY? because you are all so stupid and nerf each other!!!!
    And rangers can't help you kill mini bosses anymore because they got nerfed.

    They'll nerf the dwarves dmg for sure, I can bet 100% on that. Sooner or later they'll nerf them too. There will be nothing left of any class.
    Only the new class will be op so everyone can make a new char and spend money until.... 1 year later when they'll nerf that one too.

    If only 10 countries in the world have nuclear weapons, it makes a lot more sense to Nerf these countries 10 countries, than to give 100 other countries nuclear weapons. There is also the question of whether a game is even balanced when everyone is running around with Nuclear weapons (or if, in fact balance requires that everyone should be running around with less power).

    Similarly, if there are 1 or a few outliers, it is far easier to nerf them, than to buff 3 other underperforming classes.

    The vast majority of competitive PVP video games, PC games, xbox games, all balance using iterative patches.
    Slight nerfs to overperforming characters, or slight buffs to underperforming characters.

    I don't know why it seems like all the players of this game have this imaginary concept that you can "never nerf anything", anyone who played any other competitive games finds this mentality silly.


    Also, you are crying over a 13% nerf to a single skill, and yet if I try to propose changes to other skills where the cooldown is literally 25% less and the effect is 50% more (e.g. DK Cry vs Ranger Adrenaline), you oppose it. Hypocritical.

    13% is a lot considering how much concentration this skill requires. And when you have high dmg and high crit dmg and you hit in vortex, that 13% means a lot.
    And I'm not opposing whatever skill you say you want improved. You can have whatever you want, I don't pvp, I don't care, I just want my Es for pve

    Im not asking to nerf , reduce or something on SM.

    Im talking about what the class can do that others cant. If i put my HP to 12/15 k, i wont have a single dmg.
    Same increasing armor and going defensive. I do have 80% blocks if i want and i tried.

    This is what made record the video because that situation didnt happened once. The other team was not organized , we barely have 6v6 on tegan if u dont know.

    The point that allowed them to get organaized was that they didnt have to care about the other team respawn place , since 1 unique player could kill all the 6 players all the time!

    Not discussing also the strategy or the inteligence of the SM. This is not personal. Again:
    THIS IS ABOUT WHAT THE CLASS SM CAN DO.

    You all have a good example of a nice person that plays this game for years and years. A ranger / spellweaver / dk cant do what the SM class can. Thats what I wanted to show.

    We have to do it quickly though, that way all the current classes can jump on board the nerf wagon at the same time when the new class hits the servers. Won't that be fun.

    It's much more fun to complain about what others have :p

    Also, blue team does have a second dwarf working behind that really well optimized dwarf.

    I actually find myself learning quite a bit and tweaked my dwarf's setup for more tactical turret and less of the other turrets. I had been leading with tesla, but throwing tactical turret first, then tesla, then the other turrets, worked better last night than I expected.
