Hi all. I have 2 questions about item statistics/bonus/attributes. At the top of an item view is the name type class etc. In the area below that (with the grey background) is where I have the questions. I see some stats followed by numbers in parentheses. Sometimes 2 numbers sometimes 3. What do these numbers represent? I also sometimes see a number in gold rather than the regular colour. Again what is the significance of this?

    Thanks.

You can see in the first picture the numbers you were referring to. The numbers in the parentheses are the individual enchantments that add up to the total # you see on the left of the parentheses. For example the 47.84% increased weapon damage; that is the total percent. What is in the parentheses shows that the percent is broken down in two enchantments. In the second picture you can see how it is broken down. So the total may be 47.84%, but it is in two "lines"; 23.61% and 24.22%. You want the total percent to be high with fewer "lines". That means it's stronger. Like if the increased weapon damage looked like this instead with no parentheses: 47.84% increased weapon damage. Now that is rare so two lines is not bad.

If you're interested in a little side advice here are some ideas on how to make a strong character in general. I would recommend just ignoring the gold CV number all together. Some people believe it is beneficial, but I personally feel it just gets confusing. What you want for a strong character is strong damage on your weapon and either strong crit or damage on your weapon adornment. For boots, gloves, torso, pauldrons and helmet, focus on armor, resistance, and health; damage on any of these is pretty useless. For rings and amulets focus on crit and crit damage.

^ He wasn't referring to the CV.
    ......
When an enchantment is written in gold/orange, it means that the value is way above the normal values for that respective item.

I'm still looking for a comprehensive list of maximum values for each type of enchantment for each type of equipement.

For example, I've found a bow with +66 damage highlighted in yellow text (above normal), but I've also found a weapon adornment with +21 highlighted, and amulets, chest armor, pauldrons and hats with 32 to 34 highlighted.

Similarly "above normal" Armor on quiver = 548, but 356, 352 or 349 on boots, glove or chest armor. As low as 232 is "above normal" for a pauldron.

Is max Armor on a quiver 575, but only 375 on boots, glove, chest, and only 250 on pauldron? Am I guessing too low on the maximum values? What does DSO consider "above normal?"

    Who has the stats?

When those gold numbers started showing up on test server, I did a little number crunching. It seems that it get's highlighted gold if it is 90% or higher of the max values that cdeepal listed above. For example, the max crit on a decoration is 249. If you get 224 (maybe 225) or higher, it will be highlighted.

Hello Mods, how about including the maximum stats information in the DSO guide, e.g. here?
I think the information was released with R158 patchnotes, but I suggest it should be made available permanently.
