Upgrade costs of items.

The problem with Keen's set is that unless you got it while it's drop rate was bugged, then you are sort of out of luck. I was not so lucky so in the past 9 months since I came back to the game I have only gotten the gloves once. It may be a good set, but it is practically unattainable.

Second, You have a legendary RHS item with a crit bonus? I have never seen that before. I've seen Armor, HP, and Resist on RHS Items, but that is all.

Second, a legendary LVL 40 torso that costs 22 million glyphs to get to LVL 45??? You sure it isn't 2.2 million, that still seems high, but more believable than 22 million. In my experience it costs about 400k to get a lvl 40 up to 45.

My last comment is that while the random stats of the which set can be frustrating, at least they removed the CoT requirement. That means you can always replace an old one with a new one when you find a better one without breaking the bank on CoTs. If it were not for that change, the new set would be completely not worth the time and CoTs to find one that is actually useful.

 

15 million sorry. Got arrow glyph amount for my ranger mixed up. With 4 given HP enhancements, it always cost more to upgrade a piece. But it would cost me 15 mil glyphs to upgrade that soldier torso. Have legendary arrows with 600+ crit on my ranger, in locker, at lvl 40, those will cost me 22 mil glyphs to upgrade them to 45.

 

Those numbers make no sense. It is only 2.1 Million to get a low level legendary item up to 40 and 5 million to get it to 45. Also, I have a set of LVL 39 boots (4 HP enchantments) that are leveled up to 45 and it only cost me 880k glyphs. You sure you aren't talking about the amount of glyphs to get it up to LVL 50? Do you have screen shots? Also, I've never seen the kinds of enchantments effect the price to upgrade beyond a couple thousand. For example, if you have a set of gloves with nothing but four crit damage enchantments, it costs about the same amount as if you had gloves with 4 HP enchantments even though only the armor is improved on the first one. The only things that have a significant impact on upgrade price is starting level, the enchantment level (improved/magic/exo/legendary), and weapon/offhand vs LHS/RHS item where weapon/offhands cost about double.

I have been playing here since 2011 and only got keen's gloves and boots, still running all maps looking for belt, but i think i'll go for lvl6 legendary belt and pump it... unless gnob creates a unique belt ... that should be great for unlucky people ;D

 

i think its good that the price of updates are such high. So we have time to the next lvl cap to upgrade all.
