Was there a tweak in moon event or did I just get lucky

So it's been a while since I've bothered with either moon event, so yesterday I got bored with running Q3 and decided to take a break and do the moon event.

After several runs, I noticed something unusual. No white drops from the regular monsters (greens with the occasional blue are dropping), only getting whites along with the drops from Karabosa. On top of that, I got a unique on each kill. Most of the time it is the axe but still. So far 1 medium stat helmet and 3 axes in my 4 runs.

Still haven't gotten a token thing to do the hard map though.

I've been more than vocal on the lousy drops from this event, so I am curious, did they finally do something good for us or was were the rng gods just smiling on me?

 

That is incredibly lucky. I too noticed that they finally removed white drops for the most part, and they made the ice minion in the defend quest much easier. That being said, I've still had my normal cruddy luck with drops from Karabosa herself. No uniques in 10-15 runs. The hard map was a little more generous with 2 hats in 5 runs and legendaries on the other 3. Still haven't gotten more than 10 draken on any of those runs though. The PRNG gods must like you today.

 

You're right, though this is a thing since the previous one, if my memory isn't betraying me. This time I did around 5 runs to waste the leftover scrolls I had, and the white item drops are gone, and the ice minion is softer.

About the rest of the drops, my partner and I didn't get any uniques this time, nor in the previous one, as for Draken, my partner got 1k in the previous one, aside from that, a solid 10 for both of us, always. Regarding fairy claws, I have around 20 by this point, yet not a single scroll for the hard mode. Gotta note we don't farm wood, we only get the easy scrolls and try a couple of times, since we still find this event too grindy and unbalanced in the investment/payout.

Despite all this, in the full moon event, which we do complete, and even do a couple of runs in the hard map just for fun, we got far more better drops regarding everything.

And indeed lucky you, I'm about to turn a year old inside the game and still need the hat from normal mode to drop for my achievement.

 

U are lucky, men. I got no unique in the entire event.

 

Out of the 4 kills I did, the 3rd was with luck... I got my first witch chaser part, the Jerkin.
On the 4th try I even winked at her in hope for another one.

Yesterday I finished the event and my luck wasn't quite as good, but with a total of 8 boss kills, 3 axes, 1 helmet. That is by far the best moon event ever. I also ended with 1 hard scroll, but I've never seen a claw.

The only white drops I saw during the event was during boss kills. Top draken drop was 10, but that is normal.

I'm quite happy that they added more green and blue drops from the normal mobs. The weaker minion is a bonus.

Still way too grindy, but improved.
