Weird bug in Fyrgon's Cradle of Frost

I can't seem to join party members in FCoF. They'll be in the map, and I'll be in the map, and we won't be in the same map. I've tried leaving and reentering the map, and for that matter leaving and rejoining the party. Nothing.
This doesn't seem to happen in any other dungeon- I've checked, and I can still join the party normally in the Opal Shrine.
-I don't know what would happen if I started the party, or if the party was formed while we were all in the same map. I don't really have any in-game friends to experiment with- I've been picking all my parties by seeing who's where in the Group Overview.
-I don't know what would happen in the the secondary dungeon area, but when I went back to check on the name, the two maps had been combined into one. Er, was that supposed to happen? That seems very weird. Anyway, the question is now moot.

PS. Is there not supposed to be a travel stone in FCoF? Because I looked all over and can't find one. EDIT: and now I can travel-stone there all of the sudden, without finding out where it was.

The map Fyrgon Cradle of Frost has two different variations. Once you have completed some quests in there, the two maps combine to form one large map. There is a travel stone in the second variation of the map. It could be that the other people you were in party with were in the second variation of the map, which is why you could not see them.
