Rank doesn't mean anything significant once you reach Ardent Knight and have your level 40 PvP talent. Everyone in that match *could* have their level 40 PvP talent. The only thing obviously unfair from your picture is that it's 5 vs 4.

 

two players have the same level of Ardent knight of the order they actually have not reached level 40 pvp

 

Well, then, I guess it's not fair. Everyone fights unfair fights. What are you looking for, pity? This is, by far, NOT the most unfair match-up I have seen. I've seen 3 v 5, with Centurions on the side with 3 people, vs Marshals and Flag Bearers on the side with 5 people. Your example here is nothing new. Search the forums, you'll find plenty of threads in which you can talk about how PvP isn't fair.

 

if i could choose low rank pvp, i will choose centurion which spend much much much money than a few money marshal

if u see my thread , u will see Mage KOTO just skill pvp lv 35 ( prediction) againts 2 marshal and 2 flag bearer and much kill than marshal

PVP is not just from rank of pvp, if from many factor
i hope u find a pvp with low rank pvp as your enemy, but u cant kill him/her even just 1 time
and u will say " Hardcore payer" because u lose with him/her

 

This is nothing. I am a Centurion so I'm sure every time I show up in a match my teammates are wondering why they got stuck with the low guy... then I change their minds.

I am used to being in unfair fights and making the best of it. I may have lost, but I showed up everyone on my useless team.

 

Many flag bearers and marshals r relatively weak(compare to crazy pve players) cuz they gained honor from low lvl pvp or hard working.
Connection/stat/skill r the things that matters IMO

yep that is true. but with rank you can figure out how much time player spended in his char. therefore he obviusly has better stats. so in the end rank does matter even if you have same fame lvl as him. except mentor bonus players

The PvP system is dominated by three things: the team selection algorithm, the handicapping effect of the fame tree, and the makeup of the population of PvPers.

The team selection algorithm prioritizes keeping the PvE level of combatants within 5, above preventing too big a difference in capability between combatants (HP/armor/resist, damage output, and other stuff like active buffs, HP or energy regen, etc).

The fame tree is a noob death spiral. Successful PvP means that your additional capabilites, and that 1%/level difference, help you be more successful against lower-fame characters. And successful PvP gets you honour, so you advance up the fame tree, which helps you stomp lower-fame characters even more...

The PvP population isn't all that big, so the team selection algorithm ends up producing 5v5 teams that include both high-capability (e.g. an all-uniques glyphed-to-lvl50 all-5*sacred gem character, who has exceeded fame lvl 40), and lower capability characters - an Ardent Legionnaire down there in the mid-20s of the fame tree who really wishes they had that remove-stun talent. The teams look balanced, but that doesn't help the poor sodding Ardent Legionnaire, who isn't going to have much effect on the game even if his team wins - which is just not much fun.

If your play is focused on getting off a single Groundbreaker/Net/Frostwind before you get one-shotted each time you respawn, because that's the best way to accrue honor, then I'd suggest that the game mechanics need a tweak to give you a bit more of an effect on the game.

100k also honor a day .... 200% EDIT with Bouns honor you can achieve tao of 200-300k honor one day

The one thing you need to get good honor... is opponents that are weaker than you.

After all, if you just needed skills, you wouldn't need to farm to get your gear upgraded first, would you?

If PvP is futile to play without fully-glyphed and -gemmed gear, then it seems to me like that's a game design which could be improved.
