What is wrong with PVP people?

I am new to the game and decided to try some PVP which has netted me some moderate sucess so far (Level 13 spellwaver) My issue is that while running around in the same level maps players of greater level and PVP rank want to pick you off even though they are 10+ levels higher. Today or just now rather I was killed just outside Kingshill gates by what I would call TROLLS in PVP mode.

I know him and he is on PVP to compete with others at relatively the same level. Some of the PVPers have no respect or forget what it was like to be new to the game. I would never kill another character or engage someone who was 10 levels lower let alone 20+ levels. To me it's pretty lame to do so...

 

They're noobs, and/or they're bored. Just take PvP status off and sign up for battles instead.

Same thing happened to me. I'm runnin' back into town (pvp mode on of course) and some lvl 34 KotO SW standin' at the entrance goes and kills me. Now when I first saw him I thought about firin' at him, (Saw that red over his head. What would you do?), but I put my cursor over him first, saw his level and rank and knew I didn't want any part of that. But it did me no good. So I re-spawn and yep you guessed it he killed me again, and then again. So I waited until the last second re-spawned and then ran away. He chases me, and kills me again. But this time I re-spawned behind him and ran safely back into the loving arms of Kingshill.

But I had my revenge. No, I didn't switch to another stronger character. I saw him later battling another player in the wilderness. About the same lvl as him. Guess he didn't see me and so....while he's fighting this other guy I hit him with a frost wind so the other guy could wail on him a bit. He died and I laughed.

Moral: Hell have no fury like a woman who's low lvl SW has been screwed over by a big cheese brain.

Are you female in life, Nyshen? I would like to welcome you to Balor, here this server is open PvP but people respect each other, they don't go casually kill other players or low level ones in free will

And thanks for the offer but all my peeps is here in Agathon. (Actually I got a little too much invested in my characters here so I'll just stick it out, but it is very appreciated.) And anyhoo how would I get my sweet, sweet, revenge if everyone is so nice? Girl's gotta have her hobbies.

 

What would it matter if she was female or male in real life? You imply that her real life gender is the deciding factor in your welcoming her to Balor. I noticed you didn't extend the same welcome to the original poster in the thread, presumably a male.
