What's going on?

For a long time we have been suffering from the 'displacement bug'. Whatever the cause is/was, it s literally killing us. So when on thursday or friday the bug suddenly seemed to have disappeared, it made me really happy. For two days, it didnt happen to me even once. But.......
It seemed like we were in the 'silent eye of the storm' cause since yesterday (sunday) trouble came back even worse then it was. Horrible lags, (not just me) so bad that many teammates just left and quit playing, displacement bug (me in the middle of the screen and a horde of mobs killing me in the top left side of the screen), abilities being activated - not working - not sure if they used up rage - but yet I had to wait for the cool down time.
And no, it's not me, my connection, my pc or anything else on my end, cause every player i've been playing with and talking to so far is suffering from it.

It's happening on Heredur and i've been playing mainly in m1 and m2.
Anyone else suffering?

 

It's an ongoing problem, and I'm sure people with lower defenses are getting killed because of it. It's an annoyance to me, being forced to dismount while trying to travel. I think it's related to hit box size changes (possibly combined with server virtualization).

They should have been able to fix this. They should have rolled back the changes rather than making players suffer with this. This is a blight on the game, and it is going to have negative consequences for their profits if they don't get it fixed ASAP.

 

Yes this is how it feels like. If you remember when this bug started it was little different. the part of that bug that "ripped off" BP was fixed in what??? less than 24h???

this "otherside" of this bug(that still hang around) must be so excellent premium seller that there is no hurry to fix it

 

Unfortunately, in my darker thoughts, I have to agree. They fix things that cost them immediately, but things that cost us fester for months. As a player since the beta days (they were much better to us players then)... I've seen this over and over. Do we really have to wonder why that is? It doesn't seem like a coincidence anymore, more like an unethical pattern of behavior that has been increasing since the handling of the game changed to some new folks. The new folks do, in a word, "sUx0rs"... IMHO.

 

when you were playing on beta version this game was like a baby in B.P's eyes.the company was carefull with its moves-to not appear bugs so ''her baby'' looked healthy in clients/players 'eyes so they advert this as the best online game to their friends and b.p increase the clients and her profits.now the company haw absorbed the money she wanted-it is better for her to leave this game in auto pilot until it will be crashed(with us inside).

Very well put. Maybe this is the way of all MMOs... but I have played some other older games that were not nearly this bad at fixing things after a few years. Maybe BP is just one of the worst at being blatantly obvious that they are abandoning useful support of a product.

 

Thing is... it's gonna cost them on the long as well if they keep this up. Players are already literally quitting the game because of it. If this goes on, they might not come back.

 

Good point. I personally know of several people who have stopped paying for premium and buying andermant until they (at the very least) fix this position bug. I never used premium and very rarely purchased andermant. I can 100% guarantee there will be no possibility of even a single dollar being invested by me again until (at the very least) this position bug gets fixed. I think that the only thing that will "light a fire under their rear-ends" to fix it will be loss of profits. At some point, this money grab will backfire and then they will fix it immediately.

 

Lag is so bad today again... Please guys, please fix this sh***. My connection doubled in speed, yet even just walking is almost impossible sometimes. Dont even think of starting the event before fixing this horrible lag. How many times will one die like this fighting the red boss?

The Desert of Essences event red boss drops the best items and is very hard not just because he hits hard but he also spawns lots of mini mobs that are difficult to kill and will cause lag.

 

Well I can't even get in the game. The client now for some unforseen reason will not start up. despite uninstall and all the usual ways we try to get the game working. Even went to the website to play through browser. joke took 10 minutes to load a page. I am done with this game. I have to say bar none this is the worse game I have played ever. Not as in the game itself. But the muppets that run it. Free player can not survive in this game and really has pushed theboundary as to anall elitest client base. Shame on you bigpoint. I hope you go in to liquidation before xmas. Or preferably Xmas day. Would make my year and prob 1000's more alike.
