Where to use Draken?

Where is the proper place to use Draken?

The event merchant, Gnob. He is located in Kingshill. He sells random items in the form of Spheres, some gear, and some cosmetic items.

Right now, he only sells a couple items (a weapon and off-hand) all the time. He also has available some (un)lucky spheres that give you parts of sets. The anywhere spheres are cheaper than individual items, but random. Other than using the spheres to get your first part at a discount, you should avoid them. From time to time, they will have "sales" where you can but those set items at full price. These sales are announced in game and via various other outlets, like the official Facebook page.

In general, I agree ... it's a fool who gambles what he can't afford to lose. However, I only had 4,500 draken (weak toon, weak equipment, day job and other commitments = little time spent on events), went for a Lucky Sphere of Darkness and got the torso (Heart of Darkness) on the first try. What the heck, went for two more spheres and "won" the shoulder armor and gloves.

So, on rare occasions, good luck holds true.

 

You both got lucky and, as you put it, had nothing to lose. Normally you are asking for disappointment doing that on your main account where you really want/need stuff.

 

Dark heart, Shoulders, then helmet for me, I wanted the hands and boots before the helm and shoulders so I was pretty disappointed

 

So why bought LS's when you could have bought Grip of Darkness from Gnob?

 

i had 0/5 dark set before, now I have 3/5 , and I don't want to waste 3.8k draken if I can get it for 3k
