    Yes, I read your post.
    Since last week my SW is critical rate and critical % damage built. During this transition, I lost over 10K CV but, I am still having a blast in PVP.

    After killing the PW bosses, a door to the city opens up. Please make it so that when you click it, it will ask you again if you are sure. Sometimes the loot from the boss will drop right next to the door and it happened to me a few times that I clicked the door instead of the loot. Today I dropped a legendary and in my rush to grab it I clicked the door -.-
    Very smart people working at bp, no doubt :rolleyes:

    Also the same happened to me a few times in event maps... I spent the entry to get to the map and then at the beginning of the map there was a door back to city and I clicked it by mistake right after I entered :(

    Also why is this game all about accidental clicks? Everywhere I go with my cursor there is a high chance I click something by mistake. Either click the buttons on the top (especially the premium window, JESUS it's so annoying, when I want to buy a stone to revive someone). Or, click my skillbar and accidentally take out one of my skills. Or accidentally throw out an item from my inventory or from equiped items. Or when I want to move and the map is full of mobs and I can't click anywhere without using the skill which is on the left mouse button. So instead of moving I use that stupid death swing over and over again. And I don't even see I'm using it sometimes because I'm in the middle of the mobs and it takes me a few seconds before I realise what I'm doing because I'm already looking at the target mob / place where I want to go, and I'm thinking: "why is he not moving -.-", then I see I'm clicking mobs. And even more annoying, I only need to click a mob once, and then he'll automatically attack non stop until I unclick. When I click I want to move, no matter what. I tried removing the skill from my left click but it doesn't work.

    Another very annoying thing is that I don't have space to move. Especially in a group of 5. I want to get in front to use my deadly blow and regen concentration but there are 4 other players + guardians, wolves, trees, mobs. It's so annoying.
    Other times I don't have space to run back to safety, I go in front and then when my hp is low I can't run backwards because my team / wolves / guardian are trapping me.

    Also, when you accidentally click a mob (because you just want to move), and the path to that mob is closed and the only way to get to him would be to take a much longer path. So he goes automatically back a few meters until I stop him. If I wouldn't stop him he would probably walk a very long alternate route to get to the destination which is 2 meters in front of him but currently blocked.

    @ CMs: Redesigned New Moon Events.

    Why did you increase the amount of realm fragments to enter redesigned new moon events?
    Why did you not lower the amount of fairy wood to complete the redesigned new moon events?
    Why did you not lower the amount of time/grinding to complete the redesigned new moon events?

    Please note that all 3 points above were largely discussed on Italian Forum, all the 3 points were approved in the "New Proposals" section, and they were supposed to be submitted to BP evaluation. So ALL of them have been rejected, can you confirm?

    PS: All please note that Italian forum has also a "quota system" for a new proposal to be considered valid. It must reach a certain amount of positive votes in associated poll. If quorum is reached, local staff is supposed to submit the proposal for the next evaluation internal step.

    Not just the amount of the realm fragments needed for the portals has been increased ... but the grinding has been increased.
    Now for the hard map you need not just only one portal ... but portal + boss item ... which doesn't drop always.

    I can offer you an update: we think it's indeed a graphical bug but it's hard to reproduce. Anyway, our team of developers and QA guys are on it and hopefully they can find soon the root of it and apply a fix. Unless the exploit is under the knowledge of an Illuminati-like group, it´s unlikely that is the issue here.

    well, you can perfectly combine all those elements as long as you obtain them later on in your character. It could be an interesting addition to the workbench, for instance, to melt some items from this and that moon set together to create a Tier 2 exclusive and general moon weapon... But that, or your idea, is unfortunately not happening.


    Soooooorry for the confusion between the hunters and the chasers. It's still early to confirm which items will arrive to Gnob next time but I will inquiry about this again so we can keep teasing you guys with that content.

    yeah, it's a pity - Hungarian always figured among those languages I always wanted to learn... Ok, not really. My Hungarian is non-existent and we hear you loud and clear. Ok, so what we know so far about the new class is that is coming next year (hello, Cptn Obvious) and it's gonna be a light melee class, a rogue-type of figure that will rely on speed, swiftness and a kind of "shadow-dancing" gameplay. We had all these crazy ideas about possible skills and buffs, weapon infusing, and so on, but we still need to sit down and start making the class a reality. ;)

    if you ask anyone in the game design department about the PvP status they will agree wholeheartedly that it needs some necessary tweaks, which is something that is ongoing. We say after Rel155 a clearly dual scenario with very extreme builds as an answer to all the changes and this is something we did not want to have (nothing against hard-core extreme builds but the system should also allow for middle tactical ones). Rel158 has brought a lot of changes to item enchantments to ensure a more balance scenario but of course we still recognize the imbalance. Problem is that these changes require time because we need to see how organically players are adapting to the new systems and we certainly do not want to touch a corner and make the whole castle go to hell. But we think we are going into the right direction.

I cannot offer you any more insights about this feature in particular and about the range of possibilities since it's still under design.

    the fact that I do not acknowledge the existence of a thread beyond your posting does not mean it just slips away and dies forever. The team monitors the English and German forums quite closely. And we are not trying to destroy the class whatsoever - but we certainly do not want to slap the class in the face by following heated comments.     Exactly. We have basically changed the mechanic of this healing effect so it will only trigger when direct damage is blocked successfully. So damage over times like bleeding, poison and so on, will not trigger it. Patch notes are already on the way - hopefully we can have them before the release for everyone to see.

    yes I am aware that it is regarding their version of the game. my point was that all bots get banned here, yet DSO are actively spending development time creating a feature that replicates what a bot does. unless I am mistaken in what an automatic hunting option actually means.

    On the Dev team, I can feel it is not the same team it was before. Something must have happened 1 year ago. Anyway. If I'm yelling, it doesn't mean I'm not chill. I'm, I'm just shocked by a number of things.

    If you get to tooltips, the question is not about tooltips. Tooltips are clear. The question is, again, about the Knowledge Tree damage bonus move from the absolute value to % based. Since it is 50%, it is a major issue since r155. Please forget about tooltips :) And please tell me that you understand the question. Whatever the tooltip was, whatever it is now, it was one way before r155, it is another way now, much much worse. I did all the math for you, including what if Dev didn't change it, and provided options to consider.

    And before you get back to lifekeeper, please create two lvl50 tanks with 15-25k hp, 80% block, 70% armor etc. Equal in everything besides weapon. Same glyphs same gems. Two equal chars. And let one fight the other. Test it yourself. Everyone on the forum knows the result of such a fight. Now you will tell the other one could also purchase the item. Yes. But first of all for 6k, not 1.5k. Secondly, do you really want a game in which every tank should be using one specific item? With weird to say least behaviour. And lastly, what about the other classes? The mage who is 50-50 against some tank, will be 99-1 against the same tank with lifekeeper. Test it.

    And I just can't understand, I don't get it, how did the team manage to change every stat in the game with r158, but left low level items unaddressed. Two years and counting. Last time you told its not that simple - 'I really don't think so'. But changing every other item is doable. What a missed opportunity, again. This is dumb sql92 statement against one database (that is not even normalized) table with all the item enchants. Maybe two tables, the other with items themselves. I can write it for you if that is too complicated for the team.

    Don't get mad about some yelling please, I guess I just lack words to explain the issues so you understand and clarify or process them. My bad

    I think in the twitch Video, when discussing the CV system Greg said having a single value for attack and a single value for defense would be messy. I intended the two values to be in the character statistics page, where the attack speed, crit value can be found and not on each item. Having a single attack value would help players decide which weapon is better for their character. It is also helpful when comparing with each other because sometimes we need to know which dragonknight can do the most damage, so that the weaker one is the tank. To compare, players give damage, attack speed, crit rate- would be nice if a single value could be compared against (which would also incorporate crit damage).

    Since it is apparently too difficult to create two different CV (1 dmg offensive - 1 defensive) is it possible for the Dev's to simply admit it was a mistake and remove it?

    As it stands now, the CV is only confusing newer players and serves no purpose to experienced players.

    And the love of all things holy, can someone please allow us to turn off the "gear found" pop up so it stays off.

    Hi there, when we want to go to Varholm or Blackborg, we exchange realm fragments with Thabo. Can you change it so we can exchange for not only one realm path but as many as we want? Don't see the point in pressing the quest over and over again, unless of course you want to finishing the daily challenges of completing # of quests really fast. Thanks.

    Twinks have been exploiting XP block for years and now you guys let them exploit in Parallel World :mad:
    Tomorrow, these twinks are gonna roam around with PW uniques from boss monsters that they haven't even fought in the normal world yet. They are gonna make low level pvp even worse and post videos of beating Mortis in 4 seconds.
    We don't want Dev dairies of Map designers, lets have a community chat session once with the genius who thought letting low levels play PW is the best feature in DSO.
    PW is supposed to be strictly End game content and we have low level twinks roaming around and shamelessly spamming local chat and spamming group requests.
    Level 10 was supposed to be the starting level to enter PW according to the patchnotes and now we see this.
    This hurts every end gamer who are farming PW in the right sense.

    here are are again with some Friday CM answers. Prepare the peanuts, I'd say.

    ++Official statement regarding the crafting possibilities in PW Chapter 2++

    Problem with TS is, that most of the times what you see there is what will make it to the game; but sometimes it's not (crafting ways, Zeal of Belt, prices, stats...). The patch notes for Rel159 will include a complete overview about the crafting situation for all the craftable items of that release, but I can give you a quick overview:

    • The Untouchables - Ammon set: can be upgraded to Tier 3 and the way crafting works is to put together four same Tier 1 items in the workbench to obtain a Tier 2 item.
    • Three brand new sets (Arachna, Grimmag, Heredur) - can be upgraded to Tier 3. Works the same way as the Untouchables.
    • PW rings - can be upgraded to Tier 2. In this case, you will need a stone called Transformation Fragment along with three times the same very ring in the workbench.
    Hopefully this is clearer. Patch notes are arriving on Monday!

Just for the record, we do not have any problem with yelling (veteran yelling is the sound of a game enthusiast that truly cares about a game) as long as it's constructive. Which applies to the list of names you provided and a bunch of other prominent contributors of these boards - most of the times, except when someone slips into the field mild name-calling.     ++The Wikia page for this game is pretty awesome and I personally like to see the contribution quality and dedication of the team behind the screen that is making it. I'd certainly encourage also other enthusiasts of Dracania to join their ranks and expand the pool of knowledge and discussion.
    ++The DK issue was indeed unfortunate - believe us, no one in the office liked it. PvP balancing has to happen across all scenarios, skills and classes. I understand the emotional attachment to one class in particular but successive episodes of nerfing, buffing, nerfing, buffing are not the answer nor the direction to go.

    ++ Issue 1: if you are referring to the "vampiric aura" or "life-leech" enchantment, it's getting tweaked with rel159 and the HP regeneration will be less hardcore.

    ++ Issue 2: who in that post are you referring to? Because in that thread I personally see a combination of "Things that have gone better" and "Things that have gone worse"; and pretty much we are aware of the latter and have it in our pipeline. As I told you: there are no immediate plans to make the DK "tankier".

    I would love to give you a very specific insight on which features are coming when but quite honestly we, Greg and me, are refraining from disclosing too much about what lies in the future - atm it's a kind of nebula, to be honest with you, with features switching between releases. The essence toggle and HUD lock are coming for sure, as well as crafting 2.0, compare loot, guild vs guild, and others. In January we will be able to provide you with more specific data concerning some of them - sorry we cannot be like that right now!

    I try to answer all the things possible - but I would give you that, some very technical question I need to refer to someone in charge of that feature or aspect in particular and the team is already packed up with tasks right now..., so sometimes it´s not possible to offer really a 1-to-1 communication about a very particular point. Forgive thus the generalities when I incur in them.

    Another thing is the developing process. I can totally understand your point of view - the fact that some features you or others do not find particularly useful trample over others that would make your gaming experience better. We have forwarded the CV complaints to the team and I believe we could see some tweaks made in the future. We will keep on pushing for those convenient other features and rising awareness for our own roadmap.


    Hey there,

    the fact that we are introducing an Heroic Mode with higher chances of drop and better rewards, which is the big novelty that the majority of players will go for, explains the rise. The Realm Fragments drop will increase overall from worthy opponents by the beginning of next year (maybe release 160 or 161 although do not quote me there) so you will not find the entrance that expensive after that change comes to Dracania.

    Now, for the power of suggestions within the community: I guess you would understand that we always need to find the balance between what we want for the game and what players want from that game. Sometimes this balance tilts to one side, sometimes to the other. Some of your ideas/feedback/features have been implemented in the game. Some have not. Some will in the future. Some will never be implemented. I know, it sucks, but we are always keeping the balance in mind.

    we are actively spending developing time in a feature that is core and central to Asiatic players - you surely know it's inherent to their gaming cultures and it's in high demand (even if some particular players do not use it; but again... it's completely optional). And since of course we want Drakensang Online to also succeed there, we implemented it for those markets.

    hopefully I manage to give you the type of answer you want: rel159 brings the tooltip adjustment of the focus talent "Attack" because it was misleading. This talent relatively increases the total amount of absolute damage in the same way the essences of Combat, War and Destruction do right now, which is % based. So we are only changing the misleading text, not tackling any other thing substantially when it comes to the effectiveness of those essences.

    Messy = complicated, too much trouble for DSO, a low priority benefit to them.

    I already crunch the numbers for both offense and defense. Most players do it to some degree, some better than others.

    Offense is average damage given out, normal damage and critical damage, adjusted for actual rates. Dr. Horrible's math works just fine.
    Defense is blocking, then armor for the remainder, then health. When its all used up, you're dead. I use an average of resistances to modify defense, but tactics can also vary between monsters with different elemental buffs, or different opponents in PvP.
    Both offensive and defensive numbers indicate an optimal style of play. You can choose to change your gear, or change your style, or some combination. Whatever works.

    Numbers would make it easier for players, better than trial-and-error, or raw intuition. But it would also mean less wasted time, trying weak gear, or buying into low value items. Not good for business. So, don't look for it anytime soon, unless Haruki and Greg take up the banner.

    hi all i think all you posts are great but why bother all answers given by the cms are vague and no clear direction on whats going to be done with the issues that you have spoke about, allthough you do it for the love of the game i think now its a waste of time as they got there own agenda and thats it hope im wrong but thats what im seeing here cheers all the best guys

    It has been that way since day 1.

    If you want specific answers you have two options.
    1. Wait and read the official announcements then wait until it hits the live servers.
    2. Ask a question that the answer has already been determined (like trading).

    The point to this section is that players ask/plead/beg/tell the CM what we want or like or don't want or don't like.
    Then the CM's tell the dev's.
    Sometimes the dev's will say "we are looking into it, we are considering it, we will maybe one day look into it or we are not looking into it."
    Then the CM's come back and tell us which of those answers were given by the dev's.

    Until it gets posted in the official announcements, it is all just a bunch of maybe's.

    Sadly sometimes even the official announcement gets changed before hitting the live servers so take the announcement with a grain of salt until you see it go live and hope it comes with just a few new bugs.
