New Moon (NEW)

Wow, I'm jealous. I've only managed to farm about 80 since the event started for a total of 100, and I used 15 testing the amphoras this morning.

 

I am seeing little gnomes in my sleep. I hope I can reach at least 300 keys before the event starts.

 

And did you sleep last weak?

 

Good luck. My goal is a little more conservative... I'm aiming for 125-150 (after the 15 I already spent).

 

Only a chance to get a scroll ... but not guaranteed.
I got 3 out of 25+ amhoraes ... which is equal to "monkey business".

 

So it was a bug, huh? Pfft, laughable... OK, so basically screw this event (again).
Eh, least now I can safely use my keys to complete the DDH mini faster. Oh, well...

 

Well, it isn't as insane as Troneck's 200+ keys, but I reached my personal goal.
Because the boss can now drop 3 or 5 blossoms, I'd say that estimating an average of 4 per run is a safe estimate. By that estimate, I'll need to kill the boss 40 times to get the 160 needed for the boots. The event's progress bar gives 8 srolls, and I have 7 (5 that converted and 2 that I got from gold amphoras while testing the other day), so I need 25. That is a total of 125 keys spent on gold amphoras, and I reached that earlier this evening with a little to spare. It never hurts to have a little extra.


The only other resource to consider is RFs and I have more than enough. I'll need 400 for the boss runs, and I'll need about 70-90 for the quests leading up to the boss map being opened, so I'm saying that 500 is plenty.

So, this time two weeks from now, I should be gaining 783 DPS, 1011 armor (+4.18% reduction) and 7% travel speed at a loss of only about 1950 HP. I can live with that. I'll still have 11470HP with 70.74% armor.

 

9k burners ! 200+ keys ! that more insane than Baragain's blue essence stack

 

well 12x fairy wood per run? how the hell im gonna farm 4k of it ' it will take me a week of hard farm, so guys how many wood we need for a new new moon?

 

You need only 50x fairy wood per boss kill.
You can have 8 scrolls from the progress bar ... that is 8x50=400x fairy wood per event.
IF you have scrolls from the old event ... OR ... if you are planning to make more than 8 kills per event ... then you must have 50 woods with each scroll.

For all 6 T3 items from both bosses you will need 9600 fairy woods.

Note: The buff is 1 minute and 40 seconds ... if you can't kill the boss with one buff you will need at least extra 50 fairy woods per scroll.
Note 2: These numbers are not for one event ... they are for the complete set of 3-6 items.

Dear god... I wish I had that much time. That is enough for you to do 87 boss runs in this next new moon event. And with the 8 that you will easily get from the progress bar, that is 95. You are set to get your pick of the white or black set. It's too bad though if you are planning to mix and match. You'll be waiting for next month's then.

 

Is there really any reason to get all 6 Items? Isnt the bonus for 3 items and there are basically 2 different kinds of the same 3 items?

 

There are two separate 50 point achievements for each subset of the main set. The bonus is for 2/3 and 3/3, and you can mix and match the six total items based on your needs. If you need more crit, you'll use the dusky items, but if you need the crit damage more, you'll use the icy items. Check out post #9 and I think this the pictures are worth a thousand words.

 

I think none will call you, because to have farmed so much, i guess you don't have fiends (that call u)



Btw, i have a question: what will happen to the claws(?) used to enter the hard map? Should I keep them or throw?

 

I had plenty enough time for social activities if that is what you're insinuating. My company told me to take a vacation week or I'd lose it. Since I went out of town the week prior, I decided to take a staycation .

 

I'm about to do a work related move. That means that I barely have had any time in the last week and the next two weeks will be insane, but then I have 30 days to relax before starting my new job. I simply hope that there will be a good event to fill some of those 30 days.

 

If you look at the changings BP made to the "new" newmoon event about gameplay strategy (wood & scrolls), is it not wise to go farm now a lot of silver essence for precaution?
