This isn't the "Showcase your Auto-Farmed junk" thread, nor "Korean Auto-Loot feature results", here we post hard-earned results of our farming, which you AFK players know nothing about, don't bother adding dates, nobody cares, we all know where all your stuff comes from, therefore you don't impress anyone.

LOLOLOL, poor you guys XD, welcome to the club, unbalance where?, want auto-pvp feature as well? XD, auto-boss farming?

By the way @_Baragain_ , I got this nice material while on my way to craft a full CHR belt , I think you posted something similar some days ago.



On a side note, any advice on how to speed up the process from blue to pink?, I'm on my way to craft a full CHR decoration as well but I'm stuck with around 15 blue cristals with very good/decent yellow lines, problem is my luck on getting blue cristals with nice numbers of sockets, I even save the green to craft disposables with 4 sockets to no avail, even merchant obtained ones have only 1 slot . Thanks in advance for any advice given.

It's the exact same for me I have 4 blue decos with over 240 CHR, 4 blue 2Hs with the lines I want but no 4-slot blue drops to craft with

Here is a little bit of advice on getting the junk items. Honor points. You get about 50k from doing one DQ's worth of dailies and that is enough to buy some ingredients of the type that you care about. Also worth considering is the math of slots. With that 4 slot item, and another 4 slot item in the second slot, then even 2x 3 slot items would give you a 4 slot item (4+4+3+3=14, 14/4=3.5, 3.5≈4). Second, if you have lots of gold and decent amounts of ander, then you can lower your standards a little. Crafting a 3 slot legendary is not the end of the world. It is only an extra 4200 andermant (which can easily be farmed in 2-4 days in the PWs) and it means that you could be a lot less strict with your ingredient items. Personally, I'm working with a gold amount that fluctuates between 100 and 250, so I chose to be picky and aim for a 4 slot item because if I wasn't, I'd run out of gold.

My final bit of advice is to keep a look out for the Looter's Fortune event. It is worthless for glyphs and higher drops of exos/legs/uniques, but blues and greens drop like crazy and make for lots of good ingredients and gold from selling. I do some of my best crafting during those.

 

What Baragain says. Honor points from doing dailies gets turned into green and blue items, which btw is extremely helpful for DKs trying to get a specific weapon type.

I'm also just aiming for 3 sockets. I can farm the extra 4200 anders once I get the item I want.

Also, nothing is more frustrating than getting a good line on an item of the type that you don't want. If you are looking for an axe, but get a 79% damage line on a hammer, then you end up spending a lot of gold and junk items to not just transfer that stat, but to get it onto the right type of item. It is most frustrating when trying to deal with blue->exo crafting.

 

i have a question.. we already have the latest update which is r171 in which we can buy untouchable set though it is only for level30. lets say i have duty of untouchables which i got as a reward for dungeon 5 quest when i was level 20. then i decided to buy 3 of it from ashton catch. they are the same item only different level. my question is, can i craft those 4 items all together? will the level of the item also be random? or would it be level 20? thank you for answering and giving infos

 

No idea. Sometime crafting uniques follows the rules of normal crafting. Others, it crafts to the user's level despite the level of the inputs. Why don't you try it and tell us.

 

i am still farming materi fragments to be able to buy 3.. but it would be a waste if i craft it and not being able to wear the item.. my toon is level 26 only.. it would take time for me to try it, let you know once tested

 

I used a bit of those for boots and other stuff, problem is decorations and belts have a standard of 1 socket and I found that out the hard way weeks ago..., I could invest to open up to 3 sockets but with the amount of materials I have and considering the jeopardy it would be a huge andermant bleeding for me, though I might try it from time to time.

And yep, I'm playing around with the socket round up, but the least acceptable scenario for me is a final product with 3 sockets to keep it healthy considering my time to play and resources, also yes, looter's fortune is amazing to get junk items.

The arena for this Stellar Gol..Anniversary event is very good for junk items. One full run of it filled my entire inventory and then some, something like over 100 gold in sales.

 

Agreed. I was having to leave stuff behind because I don't have much space, but I was only picking up the blues that had potential for crafting.

 

No, I hadn't checked in other classes but in the case of belts and weapon adornments (and I think all jewelry) for SW in the PvP Merchant, displays the one and only socket they'll have before you buy them, the in game shop offers blue items as well (for andermant), but follows this one socket standard regardless, I once bought around 20 green belts without thinking too much from the PvP merchant and absolutely all of them had one single socket, it's the same with blue, pink and so on.

I dunno if the 1 socket on jewelry from merchants is a bug or intended, but you can call my jam on crafting blue to pink items one of our crafting -0.002 results, which no one thought about before tinkering with it.

 

Yeah, ive already converted a 79% 2H green sword into a blue axe by this. Trying to get a couple more 72 and 73% swords converted as well.

Hmmm, ive gotten 3 and 4 socket items from the pvp, but i don't know if any of them were belts or jewelry. Ive mostly been focusing on weapons.

 

Weapons, torsos, gloves, etc., get a randomized number (0-4) of sockets when bought from the PvP merchant, belts and weapon adornments get only one by default, I'll confirm if it's the case for all jewelry later when I log in.

EDIT: Turns out I was on a long "lucky" streak of 1 slot on everything when purchasing jewelry from PvP merchant, sorry for the misinformation.

 

Nope ... that is incorrect. Jewelry items can have at least one or more gem slots.

 

I just got to test it myself, and I can't believe my luck XD, I'd purchased around 50 belts/decorations to get 1 gem slot on almost everything and just after that I got one with 2 slots, that's what gave me that wrong perception, I'm not wasting my few honor points on that anymore lol, thanks for the clarification anyway, Traki.
