Ive done that map many times. No difference.
I try to change maps all the time, not just maps but also the levels. Sometime I get much better % items out of normal maps. And since fatal has no difference in terms of % items, and I dont need crit or dmg or any other absolute value anymore, I will stick to faster and easier lvl, maybe for a week, to give it a try.

Well it depends, when running fatal I'd stumbled upon a few yellow %dmg lines on 1H, pretty much all of them above ~46-48%, for crit damage I usually find lines above 16%, but in painful they drop to 42-44% for %dmg on 1H and ~15% crit dmg, but I guess it ends up being a matter of how benevolent the PRNG feels...

Thing is, the yellow lined items are, all in all, not that rare, they might be mediocre most of the time or not what we're looking for, but they do drop at a decent rate except for %dmg on weapons and crit damage (my personal opinion), if you recall the cristal I posted here, all of the materials involved came purely from level 1 runs and event maps. I personally think that if you're patient enough you can clean easier maps at such a rate that they'll give you pretty much the same results as if you run in fatal, at least regarding crafting materials, again, this is all my opinion based on mine and my couple's experience and testing. I'm keen to hear your results from running easier maps vs fatal ones.

I guess in the end it falls to personal preference, I already got 2 decent items out of crafting 2.0 (posted cristal and similar belt) and have materials for at least 5 more items (1H, 2H, Gloves, Ring and Amulet), also a handful of crit damage items for the future, but the workbench isn't being benevolent with me...

Exactly what I think. Absolute values are not rare, especially on harder maps, but who needs them. Relative are. Will do a week of normal maps and see how it goes.

After about 5 months the implementation of crafting 2.0 i have found the beauty of zero gold lines of %dmg on green/blue bows...5 months and i have still to craft my first 2/3 weapon, at least. Probably i need 20 years of farm to craft something decent...maybe.

    Aaand here it is:

Values weren't as high as I would have wanted but this is still a huge improvement (about 2k DPS). It also puts me at just a little above what would be 80% crit so I have to change one of my crit items to crit DMG. Since the damage lines aren't really maxed out and the critical line could still be higher, I will be looking for another 3/4 legendary with two 79+ DMG% and one very high critical line to keep trying my luck with.

Congrats! Is it the general consensus that 3 dmg% lines and 1 crit line maximizes your dmg? Until now I thought it was 3 dmg% and 1 dmg.

I haven't done the math, but other people on these forums have, and apparently yes, that seems to be the best combination for a staff/axe. At level 55, this staff gives me 2100 critical, which multiplied by the dark set's bonuses adds up to a total of 3150. Can't say no to that :p

Congrats. Exactly what Im trying to craft, but no luck in leg2leg round. Very good staff

I have done the math, and run brutforce application to compare all possible item combinations. 3x weapon dmg and 1x crit is the best staff for mages.

    Not with darkness though ;)

Oh no I've melted 1740+ lines before because I thought they were useless  Well at least now I know.

Without that single crit line, you will need to focus most of your left side items on crit. You will not be able to get critical damage high enoug. And the best builds have it above 400%, with 80% crit.

No I don't disagree ... I just mentioned Q6 in case he didn't try there.

You can try Q7 or Q8 3 in 1 pack ... you might get lucky.
I am doing the achievements there lately ... and I can note the difference since the initial release ... you can collect a lot of items in a single run.

    Complicated.
What he said. For SWs, that is best.

Same with DK axes, but for DK hammers, 2x% damage and 2x+crit is best IMHO because DKs, even ultra high DPS 2H ones, can't do glass cannon builds if they want to farm in T3 and part of that involves using the Black Warlord set which restricts you from using other sets that augment your crit. RA weapons are more complicated since the high damage ones have speed and the max on all the stats are equivalent to the other class's 1H items, and I haven't done the math for those yet, but I may in time.

The only thing I can say without question is that going for pure damage without a crit line (or a quiver for a RA), is a mistake because you need high crit and crit damage in this post Crafting 2.0 world we live in if you want to reach your character's true potential.

Long story short, unless Heaven gets a bunch of higher % damage lines and one or two >1720 crit lines to craft into a new legendary, he will be hard pressed to make a better item any time in the next several months.

Still can't get any torso exo, used a lot blues:

For junk using all blue armors i get even without slots thats why 1st two are 10 slots total, it gives 3slots outcome without invest on junk items, if get 3 or 4 slots junk then can use other pair.

You cannot easily get those into a single leg. Unless you are uber lucky.

You need to read about crafting again, and start with green and blue items. Which are also hard to find.

And the pink level, you need to have 2 gold lines in a pink item. On legendary level, you need to have 3 gold lines. 1 on green, 1 on blue.

Etc. Read the thread on crafting.

In addition, you've only got 1 gem slot on each of those items. You'll be kicking yourself later if you actually craft them together, only to have a single slot. With all that iwdoti, you'll want to maximize the Ruby gems on the resultant weapon, but adding slots to a Legendary is an extremely expensive affair.

I hurts, but melt that stuff, start from scratch.

He has crafted those 1 slot items :))

No need to melt. You can use them as 3rd and 4th ingredients. Craft 2 legendaries with 3x gold lines each, and 2 slots each, or better 4 slots each. Then add those two legs you have. Chance is still low, but at least something. 1+1+2+2 slots will make 2 slot item. 1+1+4+4 will make 3 slot item.

The thing is that i dont care about slots. I tested some thigns out and when i use junk items with 3+ slots i never get the gold lines, whenever the final item has 1 or 2 slots the change to get the gold lines are actually a lot better and much faster. I managed to craft and 42% crit damage amulet first try with 2 slots and it took forever with 4 slots same as my belt. i can always open slots so i dont care really if it has 1 or 2.
