Oh well that is impressive for a month and a half... Only recommendation is that if you are using any rubies put them into your weapon so they can get the %IWD buff too.
P.S. Say hi to the people in PFM for me, most know me. :D
EDIT: Baragain beat me to it... He had posted by the time I finished typing. :p

Two polished rubies is nice. That should add almost 100 damage to your base and you speed should stay the same if you moved your sapphire to the decoration.

Not bad. You will reach damages that most DKs only dream about, but you will struggle for crit. Everyone likes going for the extreme builds, but they forget that it is the balanced ones that will do the best. Still, it is a nice weapon for crafting a 4/4 down the road. Here is the math that I did while trying to figure out a good 2H Axe/Hammer and the answer surprised me with a 2x% damage and 2x +crit.

i have a question on whether to create a 2handed axe i have stats as follows 106dmg-105dmg-70.5%wd-76.8%wd should i create and what would the base be on this axe-i have 5 +22 rubies -or go for 3% +1 dmg

I would depend on my current weapon. If it does not better compare with 2%+2. I would accept it.
If the 2%-2 just slightly better compare to current weapon I would go 3%+1.
You targeting for an axe for a crit build. Perhaps you might want to consider 2%+1+1. Of course need some %cd in other item to make it work best.

    Edit:
Just got 3/4, 2%+1+1, too bad it's not axe.. But not bad for me who don't have anything better

Not bad! Better rubies and you will see some impressive gains, but even more importantly, better gear. I'm impressed that you have such a beefy item while still working on any real DPS set (Black Warlord, Bellicose, Bloodtooths, New Moon). I only see a whole bunch of legendaries on that toon. I can only imagine the monster you will become once you start building your collection of uniques. Do you have enough Draken (4k) for a Bloodtooth when they next go on sale?

I have really hard time doing those events because I dont feel like they are rewarding enough and what is more importantly I am not enjoying the process except the dragan event maybe. Farming the pw maps(q3) is way more rewarding and challenging.... Got a bunch of gold lines there already. Must admit I do need drakens for bloodtooth(2h build) though. Right now I have 2gold dmg lines on torso, 3(10-14) crit lines on helmet and 7% on cloak all that gives me the total of 62% crit chance and 170% crit dmg from left side.

So.... Anyone had time to do the math?
    Wich is better deal?
    A) x2 weap incr dmg x2 incr dmg
    B) x3 weap incr dmg x1 incr dmg

I think B but not 100% sure about

_Baragain_ did a comparison in some post and the advantage was for B) altho not by much.
either way, there's no telling how it'll all be after 1 or 2 updates... maybe we will all use stones and slingshots

    Here is an oversimplification.
If you plan on using blue, purple, or red essence very often (like in the III and IV PWs where it matters) then most of the time 4x % increased damage on this item will win.
If you just want the biggest damage numbers with green essence for showing off, a mix is likely best.

This is because the % Increased Damage is calculated in the same step as % damage from Knowledge, % damage from torsos, belts, and helmets, and % damage from essence. The more you get from a weapon (since those numbers are huge compared to what you can get from other items where the max is 10% a line) the more the damage you get from the essence is diluted.

The comparison that Arx_X is referencing can be found here.

If BigPoint is not careful, they'll make everything so powerful that they'll eventually be forced to nerf everybody... "Yaaaa (with extreme sarcasm)" for carefully balancing the game with the future in mind.

So with the % Increased Damage on torso, helm and belt, would it be best to go all increased or mix in something else, like Armor on Torso?

  19. _Baragain_

    _Baragain_ Living Forum Legend

% Damage on a torso is still one of the best places to get damage, but since it is also one of the best places to get armor, it is not a bad idea to mix it up on the torso. And regarding a helmet, I'd prefer crit.

    i was planning get:

    % crit dmg on belt
    % increased dmg on helm
    % increased armor on torso

and may one way on weapon:

x2 % incr dmg on item
    x2 % incr dmg

    or

x3 % incr dmg on item
    x1 % incr dmg

but also worck bench is quite random... so lucky will decide xD
