Feedback on Equipment refiners - I spent 400 drakens on Dragan Battleworn Pauldrons to test, works great...but the level of the item remains level 50, and I am level 55. This is entirely useless for anyone besides those characters that sit on lower levels.

item 1 and item 2 both passed on the base stats( resulting item had the stats from item 2..)

 

I just wanted to say that the dwarven tesla turret is still bugged. The tooltip clearly indicates that it should be doing 200% damage, whereas it actually does only 60% damage (same as the base attack). This is a MAJOR problem for us that want to switch to the bearach set!

 

Feedback on the equipment refiners:

I tested the equipment refiners on a pair of sparks boots (level 50 originally). Converted into new stat versions of the sparks boots. armor on the bootswent down about 150 points, item HP went up by about 100. Overall kind of a benefit since the new stats also +13 damage and more importantly has a nice 70% increased HP on this item, but not worth the 1998 anders. (The 70% hp line is beneficial and I now have five 130 hp gems to stash in there, giving me probably 1000 or 1200 more hp than before I think). Will not be using them for any other gear, and do not recommend using them for your level 50 gear for items such as keens, sparks, roshans, or yachak as there is a chance you will experience a stat decline if you don't have the right gems to take advantage of the items.

I also noticed that it does not work on the old level 40 versions - I am still using a level 40 base sparks glove (but intend to be switching to heralds, I guess)

I would like to see this implemented on level 40 items as well as level 50 items and allow bumping up to the users character level (in other words, you get a level 55 version). I would have paid more if I was getting level 55 items.

I would also like something similar implemented for the gnob gear (dragonsilver, darkness armor), but again, higher refiner/ander costs and level 55 items outputted.

Further thoughts:
The other thing to keep in mind is that you are getting no tier versions back, since most likely you are putting in what the game considers to be no tier versions into the refiner. So the base stats will be on the low end. There are pictures on the wiki of tier III roshan pieces (I believe roshan's boots), and the base stats on those are substantially higher due to the tiering (tier III, as opposed to no tier) and the higher base level (55 v. 50).

I could see some benefit in doing this if you are overloaded on solid cores, mat frags, and old level 50 gear stashed away. In that case, you could conceivably get smaller transfer costs. But the leg items you would be considering would probably be better for pw gear.

 

Well, that part with the item refiners could have been better. Yes, possibly to scale the item on your level as well as upgrading the enchantments, but the big issue is the twinks. What I mean with this? Simple. BP takes the q set items from any difficulty that the twinks could get just to stop -supposedly- that matter, and now they bring the refiners that a twink can use and refine the t1 Sigri torso for example that didn't make any set then to a new version of t1 Sigri that makes a set, and funny enough is available for 50+ players. So, with one hand the take away the toys from the twinks, and with the other hand they give it back to them, but at the same time no other new player can get any of those set items. Why is not the refiners only available for level 50+ chars as the refiners for the gems? Now, I am afraid that is too late for any change, because what they will do with those low levels that already did the set? Only a roll back for them and those items will be an option, or make the items they refined from the PW to be usable from level 50. BP destroys the game and when they will realise it, it will be late...

It would seem that lag came with this or maybe just with Dragan.

 

After I install Rel.192 the game freezes then when I reboot that dreaded bluescreen of death (BOD) appear. I didn't do any hardware changes the only changed I've made was the installation of new patch. By following windows restore option and the BOD has been fixed however if I install again the new patch (Rel.192), got the same issue again. I've done clean uninstall but still the same.

I'm still looking at the issue, I might start a new thread for this or directly ask for technical support.

I found the issue ... it seems Rel.192 is not not compatible with my AVIRA antivirus

 

What I dont understand here is next: You can not refin regalia set because there is no R185 version of that BUT you can refin old t1 sigi set and you gonna get some mutant t1 set with base stats and set bonuses although something like that didnt exist before R185 nor after R185. To be more crazy all that work for low lvl arts whiles it should be only for lvl 50+ items. Huh!?

 

That how it is. A low lvl shouldn't have the set, but because at the start that was with tiers to craft in order to make the set, they simply refine the items and they have the set...

In Castle Ravencaw, solo run level 40, a vase just dropped a white piece of equipment (vases being the equivalent on this map): level 40 High Power Compressor.

Update:
50 minutes later, same vase (left down the stairs, going towards the entrance to the 3rd sub-map): white level 40 Bolted Metal flaps.
I did not get an equipment drop from any other vase on this map, so far.

2nd update:
New gaming session, fresh client start, another level 40 white from the first vase I used (different room and different character).
Another vase gave 2 colored equipment parts, so it is not all whites.

3rd and probably final update:
After a few hours, it appears that roughly 70% of all equipment drops from vases in Castle Ravencaw are white junk (level 40 for me).

 

can confirm this, lvl 55 char also got mainly white item drops in the gloomy pastures

 

well Abandoned Treasure chests x = vase

I suppose it could be in a diff category...
