Stay or Leave ???

I believe that this chart is in general, but certain monsters and bosses had other specific changes on top them.

 

bosses, yes and they have their own charts.. there is nothing about "cetain monsters" and certainly nothing about regular skeletons

 

Ranged monsters are now hitting 3x with a single arrow.

 

They have the possibility.. To deal 1 + 0.33 + 0.33 which with the 30% damage reduction accross the board they announced and 80% armor should mean a ranged monster with this ability and let's say 10000 base damage pre-patch would deal 10000*0,2=2000 and now it should do 10000*0,7*0,2+2(10000*0,7*0,33*0,2)=2324 which would mean a 16% damage increase overall, but if you go and take some hits on any infernal you used to farm before you will see it's not the case, because they deal about 2x the pre209 values, and not just the ranged monsters, but all of them.

The above chart from the patch notes also states the armors of the monsters were reduced, yet mobs are also harder to kill. Yes I know there was a "roughly" 20% armor increase for everything too, but that should come down to 0.996 of the original value even on inf1 and less on higher difficulties.

 

Increasing only dmg for the sake of "difficulty"doesnt make the game more challenging, its just a lazy way to add difficulty, and in DS's case more dmg was never needed. The reason i see they increased dmg is to force ppl to spend more money on the game but in my case ill just give up on the game because its just unplayable.

yes. it is a bit tough the new update but isnt exactly as bad as the outrage i am seeing on the forums.
there are good and bad both sides to this update.

what i really appreciate is the wisdom related levelling options. there are more options now to grow ur character into differnt directions.

 

It's just another way to promote group play, they made single player more difficult

If you can't solo now, you have to group with others or you have to play the scaling normal dungeons

And yes, the minibosses damage had to be increased, the minibosses dealt less damage than normal monsters

And they didn't only increase damage, they increased resistances and defenses of the monsters

Lot of people replied to you before I was able to come online and post something here. You should take some lessons from the older players here that found the time to give you some great advices.

I can only say - mate you are not even at 20% from my 1h build stats. So what do you want?? I am a mage, you are dk. Play more, farm more, don't miss events in terms of gear, runes, gems etc and you will find your toon in a better shape in time.

We have finally came to a point where we can setup much better our toons, we can get more diversity and yet, some players, like you cry. And this, during the "days" when the game is much more flexible and accessible to new players.
Who is forcing you to play PW??? I don't remember any posts like this from years ago when lvl 40 was max and people were going first time in PW. That was though. And that is to what the PVE part should resemble in the next period.

Have fun and feel the pleasure of building a nice toon over time and not simply by 2 clicks in 1 day.

 

Only 3 people read and understood my post targeted to the dev team, MikeyMetro, Novadude and Moot.
As for the rest, they only came here to make fun of others, being rude and to pretend they know better this game than anybody else.

I wrote to the dev team about a simple thing - increased difficultly in PW without informing nor stating this fact.
I didn't ask for advice, nor how to set up my wisdom tree/skill tree...and apparently some members lack the ability to reading and understand what they read.

And since you'all like to call others "whiners or cry-babies", I will show you from this day on what "whiners or cry-babies" can do.

Everything you have written in this thread so far, from start to finish line, proves only how immature you are both in the way you are thinking and in this game.You are always trying to play the victim here and that we are rude to you, when from the start trakilaki and others tried to tell you how to play after the new patch so that you wont struggle that much.

Noone said that the game did not become harder with this update but that does not mean your setup is good. Its horrible actually and as others stated you should have never set foot in pws with these stats solo. You know how much time it tooks many of us, even the ranged players, to finally go to pws and especially in higher difficulties, not to mention back then we had no crafting to help us do that. With this patch things get worse because after a long time the game becomes a little challenging and not an easy farming boring fiesta.

Lastly, i hope you finally learn to appreciate all the players who tried to help you understand what you are missing there, even if they were a little rude or maybe you perceived it that way. cheers and good luck, oh " big gamer who does not take advice from anyone else", even if those players are among the most experienced and best in this game..............oh and 1 of the 3 players that you said "understood" you, says pretty much exactly the same as all the others that you decided to ignore say and he himself mentions what trakilaki told you. I am not gonna copy every single word he said, but many things he said is about how you should change your setup and that the players did not get nerfed, just the monsters got stronger, exactly what most of us here told you but looks like you decided to ignore that part in our posts, didnt you?

 

@GoldenBoy instead of being rude towards all players who were trying to help you, say thanks for all the free tips.
The dev team is not answering player's questions on this board, players do. If you feel like you have to contribute with your feedback, there are feedback threads created for that purpose. Please use them.
