Release 223

There is a drop issue in current released version. I am a ranger, however, Motis drop me Cape of Death instead of Death Mask.

 

@Phyrix Are you good with this set? It works perfectly with Q4, except for the debuffs of course.

Look, I can get this numbers on Health Points:
- Mortis mask and amulet: 11.7 * 8 = 93.6%
- Wisdom: 80%
- Pet: 27%
- Xmas runes 3x: 12%
TOTAL: 212.6% of 250%

Damage on 2H:
- Dragan Set (3/3): 22 + 6*2 = 34%
- Wisdom: 50%
TOTAL: 84%

Damage increased:
- Armor and Belt: 11.7 * 8 = 93.6%
- Pet: 23%
- Wisdom (30 pts): 45% (correct me if I'm wrong)
- Mortis: 500%
TOTAL: 661.6%

Critical Damage:
- Both rings: 21.7 * 8 = 173.6%
- Weap. Adorn.: 21.7 * 2 = 43.4
- Wisdom: 40%
- Rune of Devast.: 24%
- Jewel of Rage: 20%
TOTAL: 400% (x5)

Critical Hit Rate:
- Weap. Adorn.: 2041+3135 * 1.72 = 8903
- Both Rings: 2034 + 2041
- Q4 Set: 599 + 599 = 1198
- CHR Cloak = 5047
- Xmas Runes = 12%
- Wisdom: 40%
TOTAL: 19225 * 1.52% = 29222 (80% Inf4)

Concentration:
- Base: 100
- Wisdom: 20
- Xmas Jewels: 5 * 14 = 70
- Buff 1: 100
- Buff 2: 24%
- Mortis Set: 10%
TOTAL: 290 * 1.34 = 377 pts

Explosive Arrow cost: 39.6
377 / 39.4 = 9 or 10 arrows due to the 4.5 concentration per second factor.

So all seems nice on paper, but Mortis can be a little tricky and appear more often than we thought.

Also since its 500% damage heck you can go 1h and have around 80k damage
while on 2h 150k damage
I am sure with some tweaks here and there you can get to 90-100k dmg on 1h
Maybe also possibly craft shield with hp min 2 enchants

 

Ive been clearly talking only about reaching +250% HP relative modifier. For that, good player need sacrifice only +40% dmg from helmet and 80% crit dmg from amulet. Good players can currently reach 400% crit. dmg even with 2x HP enchantments. They would end up with -40% dmg and 350 crit. dmg, which is nothing compared to +500% dmg buff.

Why would i double my DPS by Mortis set and then lost half of my DPS by removing q7 set? Dude, are you even playing this game?

Well assuming youre a dk
Q4 gives 290% smash damage +500% damage would be > than any q7 setup
plus the fact that you can still have 3 dragan pieces with Q4 and that set.
Q4 already is able to do bigger smashes than Q7 on pinks and reds and = smashes on blues
So throw in the mortis set what happens?
However I personally would prefer not having to be a 1 hit wonder in this game.

 

When shielded, if you lose some HP, you can still block some attacks, only worrying about Mortis' apparition. Besides I can add a Predator to boost my conc. to:

290 * 1.54 = 446.6 conc

Which are still 10 EA but reaching more attack speed.

 

well that is with cube weapon, however picture the damage with gwenfara bow xD

Are you sure it is deleted?
It can be seen only when teleporting to Mortis, not at the entrance to q6

It was a ring I made
Then Rak and Sylent stepped in and said Noooooo it has to have a disadvantage and they proposed the hp deficit thing.



So expect Rak and Sylent behind that set
I enjoy the idea behind a berserking build
iow when you keep hitting you hit harder and faster
but the negatives imo should not be there
and 500% damage is just much too insane

I do not understand i think, you guys hate Q7 like many others from here, i do not name them becose last time a got a ban and a lot of hate, ok now back to what i want to say is this;

Now, you guys use short/long bow and you use tonic/best equipment to increase your concentration how much you can, WHY ? why you use short/long bow and still use a lot of EA ? i can't stop laughting somethimes, you make build for short/long but your primal goal is concentration and use EA how much you can, this is so funny!​

Let's see r223 what will bring and yes this mortis 2piece of set look great but is not always on official servers like on the test.​

 

Basically, items with concentration bonusses are in the game since lvl 40-45. Ring of Inner fire, Mortis Mask, Predator, Armor of Destruction and Solstice Stars, then came the concentration reduction longbows with lvl 50 and Peridots (now known as Runes of Relentlessness), Steam Tools, Steam Powered Set, then came the Q7 set to destroy all this build up by giving free EA to everyone.

So where's the problem in building up Concentration like it was supposed to be in the first place?

 

Maybe if they made the damage only 300% on the mortis set and the hp deficit to 50-75% and make mortis attack your foe instead it would be okayish

 

q7 attack speed bonus makes your dps 2 times higher and you compare some insignificant difference between q7 and q4 smash attack value? REALLY? You know why you barely see DK with q4 set? Its because killing boss would take 2 times more time aswell as q7 absolutely dominates against minibosses.

Just example of decent character:

60k dmg
80k dmg q7 buff
150k dmg q7 buff + mortis
130k dmg q7 buff + mortis without dragan
170k q4 buff + mortis including dragan

170k over 130k is nothing considering 2 times higher dps provided by q7 attack speed bonus.

 

because of cooldown mostly
q4 dks tend to not use rage attack at bosses
you understand that q4 gives 290% smash damage?
its the combination of rage attack and q7 making smash a 10 frame skill that makes q7 so omnipotent
however quickly reverse this
instead of getting 150% damage and 17 registered smashes a second. <- for 3 seconds
throw in 500% damage plus dragan plus 290% smash damage
Now mortis q4 and dragan:
170k damage - 60% armor mitigation = 68 000*290% + critical damage 400% = 986 000 smashes x 3.5 per second = 3 451 000 damage per second
x 10 seconds for banner of war 34 510 000 damage in 10 seconds
Now I quickly checked
130 000 - 60% = 52000*2.4 = 124800 + 400 = 624000 *17 = 10 608 000 in 3 seconds
2 seconds down time then again 10 60800 and then 2 seconds down time again
But lets throw in a mec
lets say you keep your q7 buff for a whole 10 seconds - 1 second for ground breakers
10 608 000*3 = 31824000

 

Because we are Rangers.
Rangers use longbows and shortbows.

Any longbow is better than the Predator.
