I take from here a part that interests me:

    https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/preparation-and-information-for-dark-legacy.82208/

    5) There will be new skills, new talents and new ways of upgrading those to improve your class the way it works best with your very own play style. You can focus on class-specific abilities (e.g. the elements for Spellweaver, defense/taunting for Dragonknight, etc.) and you can decide which skills you want to boost and combine with talents!

Now what I would like to know is what kind of policy do you want to do for the classes? because the current one sucks enough!

There is not a single ounce of balance between classes and this is the usual repeating problem of expansion in expansion!

It is not good that one class has 3.5 the damage of another, the others follow double but if I look at the break armor, there is a huge difference between the classes!

Even the defenses must be balanced between classes depending on whether you play a melee or distance, including that class that should play at the average of the range which then what sense does it make?

    https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/class-skills-talents.60417/

You should redo the class descriptions which when choosing a minimum of consistency is expected!

Another thing I would like to understand what kind of balance you want to do between the classes if you do not divide the pve from the pvp, the talents must work differently between one and the other!

In recent years, pvp has been the scene of bugs and abuse, many of them from pve objects, and whenever a bug is discovered it has always been caused by one of them.

It would be advisable, objects only for pvp, as they are easier to manage in a single mode.

The pvp, especially this year, has shown its limits in the free component which then turned out to be a rip off! It would be desirable to leave a paid part, which then gives the resources to improve and manage the pvp!

    Official announcement:

    Dear Heroes,

It was decided to delay the Content Expansion for 1 week, so the new release date is now the 1st of December, 2020!
The main reason was the missing time for testing and the incomplete state of important features such as balancing.

Well that came as a surprise! o_O

Not really. On the other hand, this a better as having to deal with multiple hot fixes (whaa, who am i kidding) :)

I think the Dark Legacy update will arrive next year, all because of the toxic players who only demand, demand, demand, everything seems bad and harmful to them, at this rate they will end up canceling the update .

Hahahaha, haven't you considered working as humorist? You are so blind lol

For anyone with a bit knowledge of how the team works and looking to their historic it was obvious for any serious player that CE wasn't going to be ready for 24th, and not because of "some players demanding", but actually because they still don't know how they are going to balance their game.

They will most certainly not cancel the update, given how much programmer-hours must've gone into its development. And players are complaining mostly because of BP's vague and incomplete statements without any clarification. Furthermore, there seem to be areas that are still not resolved, recent statement about unique items is a glaring example - their "solution" (no new crafting on uniqs unless pristine crafted before) is basically lack of a solution (actual solution would be a suitable old-to-new conversion of unique blue enchantments), and players need to pay the cost (by farming cores like crazy). On other topics, like cubes, they seem to have no idea. This should've been resolved in the design stage, before any new features got the green light.

According to current deadline, there are c.a. 3 weeks till the release, and players need to know beforehand, how to prepare their toons to minimize potential damage.

There have been many games over the years that were delayed, never got released, or were DOA. Don't get your hopes up. I think we'll see this when that cbpnk game shows up next year. LOL

From the latest Twitch: Mage fireballs can now pierce throu enemies and are working like Precision Shot for Rangers :D And wolves for Rangers can now be summon permanently (?) or at least for a much longer period of time.

And for all classes: The items that you eqiup will have (can have) an impact on your talent points for skills (can grant you additional points for skills)

When Dark Legacy on Test Server? 'Monday or Tuesday'

How the new Q7 set works? Answer: 'There is no Q7 set anymore' xDDD (from what I saw, items still exists but works differently)
Yes, looks like items from Q 1-9 are no longer sets, just unique items.

Spoiler: Herald Burning Thunder is now an unique item (no set) and grants you +1 to skill (depends on class) and fire resistance

Does that mean that Fireball is going to become like Frozen Sphere without the good damage??? We have to select where the explosion will occur?

Are all the "sets" being "broken apart"??? Or just the PW ones? Does that mean more Unique bonus lines? Or are we just being jipped out of our set lines and it's "Sorry, wouldn't want to be ya!" attitude?

And what does "+1 to skill" mean?

From what I saw Fireball is working like Precision Shot, not like Frozen Sphere. So it will not 'finish' in point when you click but it will travel throu enemies till some point.

Q 1-9 set items are 'broken apart' (at least Q7 items but probably all of them). From what I saw Dragan items are still set items and Witch Seeker items are still set items. So sets still exists in the game.

+1 to skill means you have like 10 skill points to spend on Fireball skill and the item will grant you additional +1

Well, I don't play my Ranger (highest there was level 32, some 5 years ago, and my current filler is 15 leveled up like 3 years ago), so I don't know how Precision Shot works. Thus no reference. Please explain what you mean.

So your saying that "Experience Talent Points" are going away? And replaced by.... what? All three of the "add-ons" are combined into the "skill" and then you add points to make the whole thing stronger?

Skill Tree is completely changed and is completely different now. If you don't play Ranger... so I guess Fireball is working like Ice Missile (in the meaning of the distance, not dmg or something)

EDIT: They just said that if you are level 100 and you go to Bloodshed (highest difficulty in CE) you will able to get items level... 145

PS: Shield on bosses in not that bad... I'm not sure if it's a bug or a new feature... but they were able to mind control Grimmag in Q1 (that was fun, lol)

Don't you know them already? It's either both or neither. So it must in fact be a bugture.

What really has me excited are actually some of the small UI changes. From what I can tell, that humungous block of icons on the bottom we always complain about is being shrunk slightly. Not really a complete fix, but I'll take it over the massive loss of screen real estate we have right now.

More class balancing nonsense. The classes were not suppose to be the same. That was the idea, play a different class so you could have a different game experience. Rangers with Mage skills, dwarfs with mage skills, Dk's with dwarf skills total nonsense.

They might as well just get rid of all the classes. JUST ONE GENERIC CLASS, there now everyone is the same. Problem solved.

What they should do is make a passive skill tree of the kind you have (competitor's game) for example, it's big, very big, offers almost infinite combinations.

For example: You can choose a warrior (because you like that character or for aesthetics or any other reason) and put magic or assassin skills or whatever you want, or vice versa, create a wizard and turn him into a warrior. You can also create a magician and specialize it, necromancy, expert in fire, ice, etc etc etc ...

That would be luxurious, not limiting yourself to the same liabilities for everyone and the 4 assets that you use during the game and that everyone uses because there is no more to choose from or because it is not profitable to use others.

    Greetings:

    P.S.
let me know and I'll edit myself, if you delete the name you don't even know what I'm talking about :p

Limited slots for skills, from 9/10 to 5/6... I hope there will be an outcry. Do they really want to create an arcade game? How does it translate to new and reworked abilities? Do they not realize, this will lead to less diverse setups, more standardization and people will use fewer available skills even if the devs tried to make them all valuable? I don't understand...

Who made this decision? Did they make any survey, or simply looked at the data regarding usage of skills? Really have players used only a few, and never touched the rest? Not true for a DK, I use all 9 skills in a fight within 1 minute. By limiting it, they will be forcing me to keep only the absolute necessities, no place to add any "flavor" to my style.

This affects core gameplay much more than any changes in drops, stats, crafting, gems etc. would. I wouldn't care if they nerfed all stats to the ground, but by limiting the skills, they are directly nerfing the gameplay itself. So much for trying to make the game more skill-based and less mindless spam. Enhanced bossfights seemed like a move in that direction, now it is fully negated.

Is it some kind of "motivation" to make us pay for more ability bars? If so, why not just make the bar size the same and lock the last 3-4 slots behind ander purchase?

Three hotbar keys. You all get bored clicking the same mouse key over and over. Bored farming the same maps over and over. Wait until all you have to do is push the same three hotbar keys over and over.

Only three hotbar keys is the most boring thing they are adding to the game. Just pushing the same three buttons over and over. No gaming skill required. Just the same mindless pushing of the same three keys.

Let me play the devil's advocate for now, ok?
Look at this this way: If one DK only spams skills A, B, C, and another DK spams D, E, F, in the eyes that look at the game globally, this is diversity. Each character is specialized in something different, like different 3 skills with an elemental twist to them, unlike how it has been until Dark Legacy when everyone spammed the same 2 or 3 skills (e.g. RA -> Net + EA) with the occasional use of something else here and there.

The difference in those 3 spam skills is in my opinion given by the fact that a lot of (or all) unique items will be giving bonus points to different skills. then depending on which uniques you'll be lucky to get in your loot, you'll prefer different 3 skills (or actually 6, right? Cause the hotbar is 3 num keys + 2 mouse buttons + Tab mouse).

With that said, I personally also prefer a bigger skill hotbar.
