    This event is total waste of time
    20min on arena and u get the same loot as 2min on q
    nice, this is really good Anniversary event...or no, nice joke

    shame of u bp give us this bottom event as urs birthday event

    107 truncheons used at gnob and the reward is ... 400 drakens and 154 colors ( 150 spheres and yes 4 Red dyes ... its a seperate reward ). I would like to wish happy anniversary to all drakensang empolyees may u be rewarded by BP for your hard work the same way i was at gnob

    In fact, maybe the better solution is to, after we kill all mobs of one wave, THEN the second wave is allowed to begin instantly. That will prevent waiting and overcrowding and everyone will be able to finish arena, but not everyone in the same time, of course.

    Right now, i'm fortified in the Great Desert in the middle of map. Waves are fast, and the drop is reliable with one or two Champions and Kepre in place.

    And, yeah, drop of Openers are criminally low. At least, like Bargain said, one Opener for one Egg is minimum fair price, and that is just one annoying thing between many others.

    I have not played the past editions of this event so this would be my first time. Reading the old threads and watching some videos the game is always going down.

    The biggest problem is that the team absolutely does not read the feedback from the players. if they really read our feeds, nobody would complain about the events or the game.

    now, I think this is the worst anniversary event a game can conceive. It's absurd how the rewards are limited and boredom drives you crazy. 25 minutes to get the same prizes, monsters that kill you even in normal mode, the merchant Festos in kingshill does not offer any kind of novelty except the essences. I have heard that the mini events that will be there soon, will be absurd, the drop will be as minimal, as the rewards. People are right not to play these events, you can not waste hours and hours to get nothing.

    The development team should try to change their idea of 'fun' because without the cummunity the game would not stand up

    So are we no longer receiving FAQ's? Might be a good idea to just archive that whole section of the forum. Maybe someone in the art department could whip up something?

    I hate being negative here but have to agree with some previous posts; it feels like the feedback is falling on deaf ears. Worse even (and this could just be my perception) they seem to take the feedback and remove the things that the players enjoy, while introducing additional grind, ambiguity, and annoyance, while reducing the rewards.

    I'm really at a loss as to the long term prospects of DSO, and this is a shame. You have to try, and work very hard to ruin something this good.

    A grindy boring event with trash rewards to celebrate a grindy boring game with trash rewards?Seems accurate to me

    PS the event is even worse than the last edition

    Well, the only positive thing about this mess is that it isn't as bad as Dunes of desolation, which isn't really much

    Hey people, a friend got this rune from Anniversary Event Code given yesterday...why is it 1% if the smallest available at Jesters Rune of Acceleration gives 2%?:

    Let's hope that's a glitch, and will be fixed. Otherwise, the runes we get won't ever be combinable with others, and will quickly become useless.

    DSO-- maybe I've forgotten, but did you set of fireworks in town endlessly last year? I don't remember that. It was annoying enough when the players did it-- now you have the town auto-fireworking too?

    Thank you very much for that info. The question remains the same : why oh, why? In other words :does it mean that we need to collect 3 such runes during Anniversary Events over a period of whatever number of years it will take in order to let's say - craft 2% Rune if Acceleration?:)

    Well, best case scenario they will give these runes in events or something, i dont know. Worse case scenario though, if they dont, we will probably end up with 1-2 lesser runes and we will still be looking for the 3rd one to craft the Rune and whats worse is that this lesser rune bag that we may be able to get with tons of luck from the anniversary event gives 1 lesser rune Randomly.That means even if we wanted to have a chance to choose which rune, guess what. No, another reward depending on luck, which is something we dont want of course. Has this game turned into a casino or something? First, we have really valuable items such as clovers being obtainable by gambling, then we have the terrible rng of drops in general and now even that. Do the devs enjoy gambling that much? Gambling in most games is a fun feature of the game because you can get some nice rewards but not like game changing or super valuable. Gambling in most games is there to spend some time, have fun and get some stuff, not like in this game that the most valuable rewards need aton of ander to gamble at jesters and the worst of all, even gambling that much only 10% of the rewards are nice, most of the stuff are pretty much mediocre.

    This game is DOOMED!!! ,the creativity of the developers most time goes to NERF everything ,I cant believe they nerfed this event!!!
    nerfed distance of atack on pvp ,nerf nerf nerf !!!! nerfed the truncheons !!

    But they optimize how boring this game was became ,the arena was a boredoom btw!!!

    Why not NERF the boring of this game??

    And this comment is really true:

    "Honestly, i am getting really tired of this EDIT and the only reason im still playing this game is that the new rpgs that many players want to play have not been released yet or else me and many others would have been out of this game since quite a while ago."

    I and a LOT of players are in this situation now.

    Ok, as they said and said and repeated again : higher difficulty will not give you more resources or event progress than lower ones.
    And I totally agree with BP policy.
    The higher mod you go, they higher resources you will drop BUT not event items.
    Game is far balanced to all players and I like it.
    If thou have event in mod2 or inf3 event progress will be the same ( it is a challenge ).

    As most of oldies are asking is to reduce the time between waves.
    NOT GOOD AT ALL. Lowbie could find it harder and the time between waves is ok.
    Personally I found extremely boring event due to the time wasted waiting for the incoming wave until flag 8.
    In mod2 I spent 24mins...( do not check the record time ), but an eternity of gameplay for 1 full arena run.
    So where could be the good shape?
    How could ( in my opinion ) the event become better?
    Let us be able to call more than one flag per run.

    What about pinata? I' ll give you a best report next.
    ATM 250 truncheons means : 5x10 (1k ander per day) =
    200 truncheons /10 days : 20 arena per days.
    24mins X 20 daily arenas : 480mins......8 ours per day....I' ll not even take the idea of starting the event.

    Best would be to only allow the main miniboss to appear for each stage.This way u will enter the map, kill 10x minibosses and you wouldve finished the map. 3-4 minutes to clear the anniversary arena instead of 25-30 and everyone will be happy.

    Besides if it takes 3-4 minutes to clear a map then maybe some will buy some extra maps with ander, unlike now when no one dares to buy them since it takes so long to clear 1.

    Removal of Golden Piñata Progress Bar

    Removed the progress bar for the Golden Piñata. The Golden Piñata will now be a part of the new Anniversary Challenge: Larcenous Dark Dwarves (see below for more Details)​

    To me, this is highly problematic. It started when they pretty much nerfed the rewards from the progress bar, meaning all items rewards were T0 (as in the Full Moon). I complained and offered reasons at the time why that made no sense, but now I see that was in fact contrived. The BP goal was to make people feel the progress bar was worthless so there would be no outcry when they removed it completely.
    Now, even though the rewards are underwhelming, I generally like to complete progress in all events. Now that there are mini challenges, BP forces you to be locked into the game at very specific times, or you lose. Similar to at least one of the impossible dragan mini challenges; people with lives and careers have a very hard time completing them. Which is the BP goal, so that in an act of desperation, those of us with lives and careers spend money to complete, thus punishing the very players that make the game possible to begin with.
    I maintain, the mini challenges should be run concurrently and over the entire duration of this, and any event, to ensure everyone has adequate time to do them. That simple change would go a long way to making the game more enjoyable.

    we need to have the option to call more than 1 flag at the same time, it's too boring 24 min for each map :/
