Traki, what you say is only partially true... Of course longbow and EA are big improvement for PvE comparing to Lv 45, but still, Ranger is struggling considering the other classes.
Soloing bosses is twice expensive for hunters, especially after the nerf of the EA which forced is to go back to the red arrow, and I am speaking after long testing: grimmag solo for good 2h Mage spamming ice sphere costs around 550 blue ess... To me, with longbow and quiver, around 1000: and I have 3.1k dmgs without ess or Kara eating all the min dmgs, 70% crit hit and 430% crit dmgs (is not the best, but not even the worst...)

The solution is quite simple to me, and maybe Haruki can take the question to the top of the food chain: of course there is no chance to lift up the skill damages without breaking the pvp more, or introducing new kind of horrific weapons, so at least, why not reduce the essence cost of the precise shot from 4 to 3, also considering that it needs to be in combo with the green arrow costing one essence itself? It deals so little dmgs comparing to other skills, that kind of ess requirement is just nonsense.

 

After a few of months of reoccurring error 23 messages it was nice to see DSO email us asking to continue to send in reports.

Was there a nice bonus code with it? No.
Was there an explanation on the issue? No.
Was there any update on when it might end? No.
Was there any mention of migrating us from this broken server? No.
Was there even a real apology for months of this annoying bug? No.

I've have not been able to stay logged in for more than an hour in months. The real joy in this whole process is more often than not it can take an hour or longer to log back in. Talk about fun, fun, joy, joy.

I really don't get it. DSO knows the server is broke, just move everyone to the server of their choice and be done with it. Quit making excuses and do what's right.

Can you lower/remove the costs for portals for parallel world bosses until you get those boss-to-boss room portals ready?PvP doesnt work, events are lame and boring, servers dont work due to that amazing nebula error and now we can't even farm bosses due to those portal costs.Whats left to do in DSO if you cant pvp or npc?At least let us farm them bosses as much as we can if there is nothing left to do in DSO.

Also that gnob...are you ever going to bring back dark/dragonache sets in his offers?Its been around for 2 months and you said multiple times that limited time offers will be available from time to time which until now never happened.

 

Most annoying thing ever, if you get dc you go back to the sity and ofcorse waste a portal in process along with 25 realms every time it happeness on this event... damn it. I can't stand this no more, this is not fer to players.

Since realm drops are super low, this is really getting to be frustrating.

 

Just out of curiosity are they going to have the Agathon Server back up any time soon?

 

How about a bonus code or two for all the trouble?

The team acknowledges the fact that an improvement in the Realm Fragments loot quantity was promised by rel161 (if I recall correctly) and want to do this. At the same time, this has to be done universally across all Dracanian territories and they have some other tasks to finish before... But as I said, this will arrive, yes.

About the other improvement you are commenting: not in our radar, sorry.

1. I think this moderator was simply stating that, right at that particular moment, the team was not considering it. But the feature remains in the roadmap and we are pushing for it because, why not, it's a quick win and totally convenient.
2. This has also been brought to the table and I would expect to see some improvements made in the future. But please do not quote me on this yet. Depends on other agendas and other priorities...

umh, I think I am not avoiding anything here - in any case, I can be called "vague" but that's because the facts about what will be changed and the tech babble behind it fall away from my parameters right now and remain vague. ^^

In other words, the team remains constant on their desire to improve the PvP situation, specially: matchmaking, balance across all modes to avoid two extreme outcomes and keep on adding juicy improvements. Hopefully this answers your question which... by the way, did not appear in your latest post as such.

Fwiw, for those complaining about server issues, I was unable to connect by my usual methods yesterday (i5 sandy bridge desktop with wired connection to to gigabit/AC1900 router comcast modem, laptop with wireless ac connection via intel 3160 AC adapter to same router to same comcast modem). I tried multiple times, and even with a second desktop with a wired connection to the same router. No access to agathon server, plenty of access to the internet.

I then turned off the wireless on the laptop and connected to the internet via usb tethering to my 4G Lte phone. That worked. I then logged out, reconfirmed that all access to the game servers was still not available through my various comcast routes, and the reconfirmed that the 4G lte tether got me into the game.

I imagine a situation like this would be difficult for BP to remedy on their end. I know that a 4g tether is not a real solution (for one, i only get 5 gb a month of tether, and 5 monthly hotfixes or update of game data downloads can blow through fast), but I don't see what BP could do.

 

Another day - another cannot connect to tegan server...

I'm so glad I spent all the time and effort and money to build strong characters that I can't play.



It's time to stop making excuses and move us to a server that works!

 

This is exactly the screen I got when I tried to access Agathon server through my comcast connection last night. At roughly the same time I was getting this screen via Comcast, my 4g lte tether allowed me to access the game.

Why is locker space rearranged ? If I remember correctly, my 1st page gone to third and the others swapped accordingly. Is this intentional....? Do point out if I missed out any announcement on this but will this happen again ? I prefer my locker to be the way it is with 1st page for essense, 2nd page gears and 3rd page quest items and so on.

Can one of them be why Gnob has been in town for more than a month and still hasn't had a single "sale?" It was announced and described that Gnob was going to be having these sales regularly, therefor making this better than the old method where he only showed up a couple of times a year. As it is now, he may be "there," but he is more useless than ever since now we can't even go to his cave via a portal map to get what we want when we want. These sales need to happen every other week, or at least once a month. Further more, it should have happened in the first week after his relocation to demonstrate how the new mechanic would work so that all the people who don't read the patch notes wouldn't ask so many stupid questions or do stupid things like buying 5 (un)lucky spheres and then be shocked when the PRNG screws them over again and again and again. Right now, BigPoint is embarrassing itself with yet another failed promise.

 

In real life when some products are not selling their price is going down ... that is the case in the game too.
I never met a single ranger using those "uber crappy" items from the premium shop ... so their price went down or remain the same even if the items were upgraded to higher level. (while in same time the most wanted items price like the SW's staff went up)
Even with these prices ... yet ... no one will buy those items (RA's items).

 

Believe me ... there is nothing wrong with the server ... it is only the BP's US IT team that sucks.
Usually the technology is working petty well ... if people know how to use/set up.

 

i totally agree with you..many times we made this questions and no one's answers from BP..they try to avoid..they had told us in last 2 twitch,that gnob will bring the offers 1-2 times in a month now they have pass 1,5 month and nowhere the sales..!!we wait from 162 release ,only lies lies...
