    My biggest concern with a trade system is the fact that it provides shortcuts to obtain equipment. Right now I know that every player I see has "earned" what they wear and carry. Unless the game puts in limitations such as bind on pickup, anyone could get top end gear through a mentor or pocketbook. The game as is, is clean when it comes to equipment. Don't muddy it.

    Awesome Job on the halloween event costume, love it so much :)

    Can you please make an appointment for my Skylin to see the Doctor, I think she might have throat cancer, as she now sounds like a heavy set man. It's very off putting.

    Hi Greg. Can you comment on this disaster of a event(dragan 2.0)?
    I have reported the bugs 3 weeks before the event went live. Why it wasn't fixed?

    The DSO team doesn't want to jeopardize their rank of "Buggiest Game on the Net". They also hold the title for "Least Responsive to Their Players", too.

    Another example of this game going backwards.
    Since R134 and introduction of the stupid Compare Tool ... base stats were removed from the tooltip. Now the base stats of an item can be seen only if it is not identified.
    WHY? Why did you removed the base stats? Why do you want to make confusion among players ... especially when there are items with random enchantments.

    Bring back base stats so we can compare the items ... Compare Tool is useless, misleading and hilarious.
    We want to see on what numbers enchantments are applying to ... we don't want to see only clueless summed up numbers.

    Hello Greg some news abouth PvP Balancing ? You said that PvP balancing will come with R138 is it still actual ?

    PVP MATCH MAKING
    This is correct, with release 138 the team is going to introduce the first set of balancing measures to the match making of the current PvP system. You might have read already that release 137 will be skipped this week and merged with release 138.
    Release 138 is aimed to be launched in the upcoming week (first week of November). Should there be any changes, the changes will be announced in advance - of course - in the forum.

    DRAGAN EVENT BUGS
    oh believe me - I had my fair share of "ARG!&%$/&%$%&$!" -moments. Its not that the bugs have not been reported.
    For example, the bug with the Dragan Set - which is causing frustration in the PVP arenas, was reported and was also queued to be fixed.
    However, the fix was not ready for release 136. This bug will be fixed now with release 138. Bugs are being prioritized by functionality.
    For example, the bug with the treasure chests had to be fixed ASAP because it hinders you from receiving the valuable loot. In general of course there should not have been any bugs at all. I can tell you that we have implemented a new tool in our workflow where bugs are being documented to one central pool - we are hoping to reduce the amount of bugs with this. The effect of that remains to be seen.

    ACHIEVEMENT SYSTEM
    The achievement system is a feature which is planned for release 139 currently.
    Anything I write here can change until the actual release day but for now it is planned that you will get a new button on the upper menu bar.
    Achievements are structured in the following categories: General - Lore - Groups&Guilds - Classes - PvP - Challenges - Crafting.
    Depending on your preference you can explore and focus on one of the above mentioned categories.
    Any of the information that I give you is not 100% final, until the actual release day, features can change drastically. This is merely a preview, since you asked;)

    Thank you for your interesting perspective and argumentation. My goal is not to "Wow" the crowd or tell them what to do.
    I am simply the informer. It is up to the player whether s/he can make use of the information that I am posting. Players will always react
    in infinite ways and one cannot please everyone, which should not mean one should not try to do so;) As long as an individual is approaching me with respect, I will share information with him/her. The developers and I are making use of the forum, even though many players cannot understand how this works. With the level cap to 50 and the content expansion we will try to shed more light into how the game is being made. So that the players can see that they actually have "a saying";)

    Why only 5 levels (levelcap)?
    Well, first of all, you can be sure that any number would be possible - it simply seems more logical to raise it by 5 rather than for example to raise it by 7 levels. We could have also plan to raise it by 10 levels but you should keep in mind that creating new content takes a lot of time. 1 new map takes 4-6 weeks to be created/tested and finalized. Currently we thought of 10-12 new maps. All the details (trees, decoration, state objects, monsters) are handmade. Since we are creating a completely new world, we want to also create NEW objects and not make use of old ones. You also need to consider that we need new items, new skills and talents.
    This time YOU ALL had a saying in the making of the new world. We have finalized the results and soon you will hear about them;)
    Myrdosch (level40-45) was, in my humble opinion, an underestimate of how fast players can level. I believe that the new content will avoid this - and also be less grindy. Why do I say this? A) we saw how the community reacted on Myrdosch B) the community has much more of a saying now (yes, we CM's actually work, contrary to some believes out there in the com).

    hey Greg, three questions i have for you and the developer team :


    1. when do you plan to fix this bug ? it's been around for many mounths now... it was introduced with a bug in the parallel world where the quest counter would increase for every fragment collected by each member of the team. so the number of fragments in my inventory is not the same as the quest counter and now i have 3 parallel world quests that are bugged 1, 2, 3. i'm just curious when is it scheduled for fixing.


    2. when will you adjust the drop rate for the big bosses like mortis, destructor, etc ?? i mean white items at sargon & heredur ???? for the kind of effort we put into defeating this bosses 2 purple items would be minimum. even that is too little in some cases (like destructor)...


    3. why do you force us to spend our hard worked andermant on reviving inside the dungeons with 100 and 150 pearls ? i, personally, would have bought premium for this event if the option with 40 andermant was available. so you lost me as a client, and many others i'm sure...

    So the Dragan set bug didn't have to be fixed ASAP? It is all fine letting players battle those bug-abusers for over 4 months while you guys we're doing nothing or "working on it" as you claim.. It was all fine letting them gain an huge farming advantage compared to everyone else who didn't have the set to abuse it for over 4 months to kill boss's easy, and therefore even gain some of the unique items by it almost effortless? It didn't have to be fixed ASAP? That must be your joke..

    Now let me guess the best part of it.. No punishment aka permanent ban to those who did this, cause you guys can't spot who abused it?.

    I read RickTalrok who wrote you guys already banned players who abused bugs to a heavy degree. Now abusing this bug for over 4 months not only in PvP against others, but as well in PvE to make everything easier is not to abuse a bug on a *heavy degree*?

    Your good with words Greg, that's how you guys always are, but taken actions or actually changing things for good I have yet to see.
    Well at least you can always fool most of the players I guess. - Congratz :)

    I'm probably just going to smack myself in the face for asking this, but what bug with the Dragan set? I've had this set since the first Dragan event and have never noticed any bugs with it.

    Great job and a big thank you for fixing the mac client as soon as possible. Also a wise decision to skip release 137 :)
    The event that is going on has a horrible drop rate for almost everything, it would be nice if it is tweaked a little.
    The crates repeatedly drop the same thing, after the 6th quest i have yet to get a mount drop. Is the event designed so that all players will get the mount? Or is it just based on luck?

    Hello Greg (thaks for your last post ) this picture is from test server ,there is new mount (on test server Available with patch 137 ), but this mount wasnt at patch notes .Is this mount still on plan with R 138 ? Thanks for Answer

    Hi Greg, thanks for the info. But why raise the cap in the first place? When the talents that require knowledge are so low in comparison to both experience and fame?


    I think an idea like the one stated below would be a next best step personally...

    Merging pets on the workbench, to obtain an enhanced pet would be very cool. Just an opinion.

    An idea that I haven't seen thrown around much but would benefit the game greatly with respect to some variety would be the idea of randomized dungeons of varying difficulty. There are plenty of games out there that build new dungeons every time the player enters using template objects. This, coupled with quests that could be repeated for more than just gold/silver/copper (i.e. COTs, Buffs, Ander, gems... etc.) would make me happy and if I know anything about the community, it would make a great many of them happy too. Right now, 99% of end game players only farm the PWs, and map2 in particular because there is nothing else that has anywhere close to as good of a pay off. It doesn't take a lot of work to make end game content, it takes creativity.

    instead of trade with other players why not have a trade system where it is only trade between your chars (i talking about gold/gems/cots/gop not gear or items).and if you do on plan making trade dont screw with the all ready low as possible drop rates

    Heck No!!!
    It is already bad enough that pushers and twinks exist, but if you could just trade all your flawless and sacred gems to a LVL 6 PvPer and use CoTs farmed on your high end toon you'd be able to ID legendaries easily and then use the millions of glyphs you farmed in Map2 to upgrade your low level legendaries to LVL 30+... Well, use your brain and tell me why this would be a bad thing. This idea has been proposed before but it is one of the worst ones I've ever heard of. It is beyond game breaking!
