Crafting 2.0 Results

When the first version of Craft 2.0 came at TS ... Baragain and I were testing all the features including the gem slots. I wasn't sure if it was 1 or 2 slots ... Baragain has found the info in some of the previous patchnotes.

 

It looks like they changed Q5M1 and the mini-bosses drop now exos.

 

Nope, I've tried it yesterday. Tons of blues. (Some with 4 gems slots, yay)

 

They were dropping extraordinary and legendary items since always.
But the thing is it is not a granted drop like for the other mini bosses in other maps ... it is random.
Blue items are granted.

 

Do I still need those Grimmag boots now?

 

Both Grimmag boots and those you crafted are not good.
These shoes are best

I just started playing a bit with the crafting system. What are those yellow numbers on the gear? what happens if i put 4 pieces of legendary gear that i crafted, does the outcome will be stronger?

LOL. But unless he got one of the ingredients in the past couple of days since the release, he should still be able to craft these (unless he was going for a 3/4 and got uber lucky.)

Who knows... maybe he can make something better by replacing that 9.1% line with something more like a 9.8% line.

 

So after reading for a bit (thanks @trakilaki and @_Baragain_ ) i farmed for a few nights and crafted my first bow



it's a nice one for the first crafted bow i think, and with sapphires in the gem slots it can be a fast longbow

 

Nice bow ... for a start.
You don't put sapphires in the weapon ... you should put rubies so you can take advantage of the %weapon damage.
Put Sapphires in the arrows (weapon adornment) because you don't get any bonus for them ... the only attack speed bonus you get from the weapon attack speed enchantments.

And yes this one is for an experiment, to see if it's possible to get a longbow to the speed of a short bow

 

Yes you can ... but why would you need it? If you are after attack speed you can use short bow.
I have got quite few longbows with attack speed enchantments over 50% ... they all went into smelting furnace

 

I played with short bows because i hate the slowness of a longbow, but the dmg is, of course, lower (unless there's something i missed). If you can get a longbow dmg with the speed of a short bow it will be excellent. This is what i'm trying to test. Did/Do you use only short bows?

 

I use only long bows ... I never use short bows. The only short bow I am using is the old EoT shortbow ... because of the travel speed enchantment it is good for lower level maps farming.

You can craft longbow with 2xAS and 2xWD ... it would be well balance between attack speed and damage.
