Suggestion [feature request] combat value

Hi

I do at time rely on the combat value, but it is annoying that people has no chance of knowing the base comba t value of an item with gems in... a found item can be of higher base combat value than the equipped item, but because the gems added to the CV, the equipped item get's a higher CV than the item found, wich is quit annoying.

My plead to the developers, could you please add the base CV of the item somewhere in the details of the item, so CV is actually useful and so a person can compare items equipped against found items.

TL;DR- The system is too broke right now to add features. First, the system and the values need to actually mean something before we can worry about fixing issues with the system. You can replace a broken window on a crappy car, but it is still a crappy car. What really needs to be done is the garbage is thrown out and effort is directed towards a usable system.

Now, you can see from the dates in the threads above, this system has been broken since it was introduced over a year ago and that means that it is unlikely to get the attention it so desperately needs. Just ignore it like the rest of us do and build your character in a way that makes sense, not the way that CV says is good.

 

For now, what we really need is a game setting: " Combat Value [ On/Off ] ". Just like the "Latency Indicator". When off, all the CV values are hidden.
