Hacked? URGENT, please respond.

    Hi,

    I'm new to the game as of today. I was playing and saw a little box icon on the lefthand side, clicked on it, and it came up with a "We have received an order" notice. It gave me 999 of some kind of purple thing, 100 of something turquoise, and 18 keys of some kind. I DIDN'T ORDER ANYTHING. And I don't think the game would give me 999 of anything for free. Have I been hacked?

    Please note that I have NOT give my credit card information (or any information) to Bigpoint or this game at all. Please help me out here, I don't know what's going on and I don't want an Identity Theft. Really can't afford that. Thanks.

    That sounds like a bonus code... though I don't remember anything recent that gave 999x Essences of War (the purple thing), 18 Lock Picks (the keys) and 100 of something turquoise (can't figure out what these are right now). This game does give us free stuff... usually via a bonus code mostly with every Twitch stream of our community managers, and one each day during December.

    I don't think you've been hacked, though... otherwise, you wouldn't be able to access your account. I mean, what hacker just gives you helpful stuff? Think about where you might have received that bonus; has to be from somewhere.

    @MaddestHatter Morinphen is correct. If you did not purchase anything, it will be a freebie. Generally, these are announced in the Official Announcements section of this forum, or the information is detailed in an email sent from Big Point. The drop-down box icon in-game presents no security risk.
    If you see any offers outside of the game, feel free to contact Support and ask about it. Include a screenshot of the offer and a statement detailing where you saw it.
    Never go to any sites mentioned in game chat. If you ever see players spamming links to a website offering freebies, please press F10 to save a screenshot to your desktop, then send it to Support. It will be a phishing scam.

    yeah it is email confirmation , i too recieved it last day , unfortunate all these years , i havent confirmed it hahahaha. so dont worry just enjoy the freebie
