My problems seem to be limited to Tegan

On top of the regular cannot connect and error 23 messages, for the past 24 hours, I've routinely gotten the solid color of death screen. Sometimes it happens when I log in, sometimes it happens when changing maps.

The mods and support suggested that maybe my cache is full. Maybe other programs running are the issue. Maybe my computer is out of date. Maybe my high speed cable internet is simply too slow.

Now I cannot argue these possible issues, but when these issues occur, I can log out of tegan and then log into Agathon and lo and behold. My cache is no longer full, the other programs no longer affect the game. My computer is no longer out of date. My high speed cable internet is no longer too slow.

No solid color screens, no cannot connect, no error 23 messages.

Maybe Agathon is just a miracle server, I certainly cannot discount that.

However I'm looking for some other possibilities that someone might be able to suggest so that I am once again able to play on the lonely Tegan server.

So far I've tried clearing my cache several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, pinged both servers during the issues on Tegan (get similar results), and yet the only thing that seems to allow me to play uninterrupted for any length of time is switching servers and playing on Agathon for a while with a new character.

I have not tried any other servers to see if I get the errors, only Tegan and Agathon.

It would be easy for me to blame my computer and internet if it happened on both servers, but since this seems to be limited to Tegan, I am out of ideas on what to try next. Suggestions?

 

Please note.

Error 23 means your toon is still logged in.

1.) If your computer did something and DRO_Client.exe is still running in the background then when you try to log on to Teagan you will not get on but Agathon or any other server will work. A reboot typical will fix the problematic program but it might mean you have to contact support and have them log off your toon from the server before you can get back in.

2.) There could be an error on that map instance on Tegan. If you went to kings hill and got disconnected and others on your TS3 server stated they got booted from kings hill then send in a ticket explaining this.

I think I saw your previous thread before it went poof, and while I have seen that kind of issue before, it's usually only after I dumped my temp files, so everything is still loading. After the first time the map loads, everything's pretty smooth and ok.
