    can someone explain what the new tiers on items are? I have found like items of different tiers and can see no difference?

    Higher tier items have higher max values
    Ie. ... if my T2 bow has a chance to get minimum base damage from 300 to 400 and maximum base damage from 600 to 700
    the next tier starts with random values with the max base damage taken from the previous tier as minimum :D
    In this case T3 would have 400 to 500 min base damage and 700 to 800 max base damage.
    T2 random stats: 300-400 - 600-700
    T2 random stats: 400-500 - 700-800

    Of course those are not the correct numbers ... I have taken them as an example :D
    It is the same like Unique Rings in the past ... higher tier have the minimum value of the previous tier max value.

    Just 1 question and 1 silly complain:

    So characterwise all we get are 5 more exp points to spend, no new skills/talents am I right?

    I am bit unhappy with the new background: once again only Dk+SW and no Ranger/Steamy.

    +1000 on that.

    I have a new toon that just reached lvl 50 and I just started farming for sapphires etc. I only have 2 polished sapphires. Now they tell me that they took them out of the game but only for new players. The new runes are weaker and only available for clovers which are very expensive to get, plus older players can use these and their sapphires! They can get over +100% speed with just good sapphires and I can get, oh yes, ZERO.

    Major no-no here. If you want to take them out of the game then take them out for EVERYONE. Refund and compensate older players (full value plus) if you want or just make them available for everyone again. I already had a major disadvantage coming into a game that has been around for years. I am not going to play when I have no chance of reaching players who started playing even months ago.

    And the stats on new items are TERRIBLE. 2-3% running speed on boots? Seriously? Older players have boots with >30% speed on them!! Am I supposed to catch them in the arena with 0-5% speed?

    You guys didn't just break the balance between older and newer players, you made it impossible.

    • Some special gems (runes) were auto-socketed into incompatible items during release. For example "Jewel of rage" is socketed into helm, despite the fact thatt it can only be socketed into weapons.
    • 10x lockpicks from shaby chests is a bit too much, don't you think?
    • Some minibosses have incorect difficulty scaling and empty loottable. Experienced on painfull difficulty with snakemen on 1st map and beetle in temple map.

    I have some things to note right off the bat:
    • tiny one, but two regions got new tags on the map, both misspelled (Myrdosh instead of Myrdosch -- missing the "c", as also seen in the achievements' tab -- and Lor'tac instead of Lor'Tac -- capital T);
    • achievements' revamp makes them look a bit tidier now, but some things don't make sense to me (like why is the Vargulf set achievement in a Gnob section or why are PW time-achievements in a separate category than Parallel Worlds);
    • tiers: inconsistency (saw one explanation above, but I have legendaries with tiers, others without... same for some uniques that weren't tiered before -- example: Roshan Boots (lv49) are T1, Roshan Boots (lv50) have no tier... or Vargulf set: 1H is T2, other pieces have no tier -- 404, logic not found);
    • a guide is needed for the new crafting and line passing to uniques... there is Gnob's core... two separate cores in every PW and on top of that, another two separate cores @ Salvendar... that's 5 items to be confused about;
    • Infernal PWs are not there, neither are Rangers' 2H weapons (Siege Bows);
    • and speaking of PWs... teleports are only mode 1 now... another change that nobody bothered to mention;
    • now for the biggest issue I found at a first glance: base values and enchantment values -- offensive offhands had this problem from before, displaying only the base stat and the enchantments without adding them together... instead of getting a fix/revert back to normal, now it's the same with weapons... it's one thing comparing offensive offhands, easy to judge which has the most critical hit rate, but it gets very stupid comparing weapons, since we have no damage per second stat anymore, nor do the base stats go up (we have variations of + damage, % damage on the item and some like a line of crit. hit. as possible enchantments for a 2H weapon, for example, and comparing two now, if you find/craft something, takes some rough calculations that not everyone is willing or able to do).
    Yeah, heard of this. However, the person in question got the gem auto-scripted back to him without contacting anyone.
    Need to check this. Mine also remained where they were.
    Not really. It's not like the lockpick chests are outrageous. You basically restock on a few ess. and little gems/potions/items.
    That, and the chance at the jackpot. Which, by definition, is not something to happen often. Why'd anyone complain about an increase?

    I had to do a painful G-Stone for my 2nd and 3rd Daily boss challenges. I did not notice any difference until the big bad Grimmag (M3). His HP seem about the same based on the amount of ess I used. But he is definitely 1) summoning more often with more mobs 2) dealing greater damage and 3) using destruction and meteor more often.

    The increased damage really caught me off guard. I was expecting a bit easier time with him since my toon is stronger today defensively (thanks to the extra gem slots opening up with the 'specials' being moved.) I almost died a few times :eek: I guess I have to start playing like a real Ranger now instead of relying on my unusually high defense for this class :D Ughh, all that running around :p

    Still, I see this as a real problem for newer/weaker players that will now have trouble with their dailys and may also get bumped out of top 200/100 leaderboard rewards (this may be just a Tegan thing. So few here that it does not take very many solo runs for these ranks.) Out of curiosity I also did Q2 thru 4 and it is the same with the bosses there. I wanted to get back to the new maps so I stopped there but I would guess it is the same fr the rest of the painful Qs. I only hope the dev's did not get carried away with the other difficulties.

    On the flip side though the drops are way better in painful now than before so for me at least this is an acceptable trade off. But again this goes to that gap between older/stronger players and newer/weaker ones being increased with this release.

    havent seen much of a balance yet mobs are now hitting me even more lol other then that other content still trying out hopefully Devs come and play for REAL like everyday players and see what really needs to be changed for the betterment of us players to make it worth playing and make it fun while playing not fun when you have to die 1-3 hits specially if theres a million mobs around you that 3 hit can feel like 1 for SWs dks can hold on to a beating as always

    FORCED fatal pw for sets...BAD. Old materi which is exactly the same materis as we get today does NOT count towards materi achievement..BAD. Travel stone in Great Desert does not work going back.....BAD. The travel stone in the endless dungeon of OMG endless boredom, Depths of Demise, ONLY WORKS AFTER YOU CLEAR ALL 10 FLOORS and you can't turn in quest without having to redo every floor you've already done UNTIL YOU CLEAR ALL 10 FLOORS......BAD. Convoluted tiered gear, the same Dunes of Desolation basic event quest lines, the blatant overcharging for everything.....BAD BAD BAD. Way to go DSO, pretty sure this is the final nail in your coffin, but at least you have Youzu and the chinese market to pander to, pretty sure they have a much better version of this game than we keep getting.

    why was there a need to make grimag summon a map full of skeletons. and i entered on normal diffculty and died a couple times and could not even finish. he keeps healing while alot of skeletons stay in the way.

    What are the requirements for getting into the new area besides being level 50 my friend can't find the door it's not there for him neither is the quest but he is level 50 why can't he get in?

    Quest - A task for the Best (6/6)

    "Find and defeat Sadis of the Six Terrors on the 10th floor"

    Ran through this map 6 times now and have yet to find Sadis. Is this a bug or is this one of those keep going until you find it type quests?

    Adding to before, been noticing some more...
    • it seems higher mode PW TPs aren't gone, you just need a higher number of green teleports... kind of like the latest Defeat the Undefeatables... so, not gone, but still a change not even mentioned;
    • PW increased difficulty... AGAIN, without any mention;
    • more problems reported with Full Moon gems and wrong compensations for who lost them somehow after the patch;
    • other reports include activating saved-up Premium packages from bonuscodes and it not triggering;
    • the rewards for being a referral and inviting people to join has also been removed without mention.
