    I still have no idea of how this new daily deal works. What exactly are the steps required to get the daily deal rewards?

    Edit: to clarify, I know the daily deal is somehow andermant related, I think. But, do I need to buy xxxxx amount of andermant, or do I need farm xxxxx amount of andermant, or do I need to spend xxxxx amount of andermant? And if it is spend, which merchants do I spend at, or is it with any merchant?

    It should be a lot clearer what to do given the amount of andermant at play.

    Do what you want ... you can gamble at Jesters ... you can craft items with andermant ... you can die in the maps and revive with andermant ... you can buy anything anywhere.
    Every single andermant counts.

    So very happy the attack sound for Hunting Arrow got changed :)
    New animation frame count is nice also.

    I agree with @Novadude that the new Daily Deal thing is not at all intuitive and a better explanation (perhaps a page in the F.A.Q.) is needed. I did figure it out with an old alt acct that had some anders. This feature is kinda whatever for me though. Probably nice for newer players if they wait to buy things like inventory expansions when good rewards roll. Just for grins I logged thru most of my alts to see what the chance of getting a joker was. Out of 87 toons only one had a joker (jewel) up for grabs.

    The new spend your ander tool makes no sense, but I guess it helps those who want to spend it. Doesn't affect game play and didn't seem to bring new bugs, so I guess a thumbs up for that.

    The animation thing is okay.

    I do wish that they would get around to fixing some annoying bugs like the can't use skill here or maybe fix it so you can mount after killing monsters.
     
  6. I'm loving the new skill animations for ranger, especially Deadly Blow.


    The andermant deal is I guess nice if you have a huge chunk of andermant to spend everyday. Kind of forcing people to spend andermants which is bad in my opinion but i'm not complaining as it doesn't really affect the game.. well at least it doesn't affect mine.

    Still waiting for the "Chat unavailable" bug after switching instances to be fixed... after like what, 5 years? :/

    The new speed is great in pve, however in pvp it puts Dk and mech in great disadvantage. The new skill animation allows ranger and mage to use skills nonstop, leaving Dk and mech with no time to attack or closing the gap.

    Daily Deals - choose one from each category, accept and then any form of Andermant use counts towards the target. It does not force anything on anyone whatsoever - nobody said you MUST get 3 rewards every day. Sure, it benefits those who pay more than those who don't, but even so, it's a possible few extra rewards every now and again, when you do spend your Ander (e.g. buying inventory slots, etc.) and a nice spawn-pool for the rarer items.

    The new skill animations, time-frames and sounds: well, as far as mages go, I see nothing "new". Frozen Sphere moves exactly like the Fireball... very innovative. Also, the pew-pew sound for the Magic Missile is silly, to say the least. BP and skill-sounds really don't mix well. As for the "new speed", it should only be some polishing to enhance user-perception, but no actual mechanic-changes so as to put anyone at a disadvantage.

    Other things (from the past while) : no more small freeze when opening the quest-log, but it's still there when you click the Compendium (so, hasn't really been fixed, just moved a little to the right, a tad more out of sight). Also, who had the bright idea to make the Shop window absolutely non-close-able except by the X button? Once it's open, press all you want, it won't go away unless you manually close the window from the corner. What good is it to bring stuff like UI-lock if you do this and make the problem of accidentally opening things mid-battle much worse?

    Dwarves have slow "quick shot", but other classes have some skills very quick.
    If a group kill a boss but some player goes inadvertently to a city he can not return for drop by a port. He will be on other new map without drop.
    Give warning with using exit.

    The new animations are really neat since you could actually dodge stuff effectively w/o losing that much dps. (Actually being able to stutter step with magic missile vs ranged mobs is pretty sweet)

    The daily deal is a nice little bonus for spending andermant in huge amounts but I'm mostly lukewarm towards it.

    Are the changes with the ranger Death sweep and deadly bow intentional? because they look weiiirdd

    @BlueKnight I'm not sure if that question was directed to me but if I had to take a guess the new skill animation was put in place simply because the old animation was incompatible — if they had the old animation with the new frames it would look like the skill hits while the ranger is still rearing back (old animation had a long swing time before damage was dealt). Imo it felt a bit weird at first but overall I liked how... crisper? the new animation felt. Plus with the new animation you could avoid melee attacks with small hitboxes without ever missing an attack (IE: the dragon knight thingies at Thunder Crest, with the old animation you had to do a full stop in attacks to dodge but now you can just stutter step it)

    Please bring old Magic Missile sound back. No offence, but the new one is ever so annoying.

    Accordingly to this table deadly blow should be faster, but after some tests it appers to be slower.
    I did "essence use" test at speed 1,61, and during 20 sec of continuous attack I've used 102 essence loads. Befeore release 196 it was 112 essence loads.

    Can someone confirm?

    got it.
    I forgot that deadly blow consumed 3 essence loads in the past,
    so yes, deadly blow is now obviously faster.

    Daily deal is pretty neat. It would be nice to be able to rotate rewards like the daily challenges instead of waiting 24 hours.

    i play whit all character , but the most whit SM...
    whit the new animation skill frame , whit my speed od 2,37 "quick shot" is like 2 breakpoint back and the reffil of steam is actualy slower whit the use of "quick shot"
    did you messup breakpoint ?

    1) Bad fix with party !
    IF a player deliberately log off ( party bombers ) OR have a crash while inside ( ex. map 2 or logging in to boss room )
    ALL THE PARTY HAVE TO QUIT, because cannot kick him !

    is this new access-map really intended to properly work like this way ?
    Have you ever think about a crash and how a group member can no longer access to the same group map ?
    What about Anniversary Event ? Have you tested a crash or a log out and try to enter back to the arena map ? YOU CANNOT ENTER ANYMORE!
    Coin wasted or 100 frag ( if infernal II )
    Please test before release!
    And what if the one who got crash is the DK ?
    The party wipe out with no tank!

    Last but not ( I hope LAST )

    If you kill boss and open the exit arrow ( you click on exit ) you lose the drop , no way to come back to take YOUR drop.....nor with tp or doin
    the map.

    With Khalys the problem of drop over the exit button MUST be fixed asap.

    What is up with the client "session expired" timing out so fast?
    I waited for the emergency patch to install and then I had to enter my password twice to get in due to "session expired"! :(:oops: How is that possible?

    Hi man! Someone told me that it was for the anniversary event (it was bugged XD)

    I am very happy with this release and the new skill time. In arena it is funny to hit&run
