    Can we have the guides for these events before, or at least at the same time as, they go live please.

    First impression, solo event, drop get only player that kill , you cant go as tank on higher difficulties because you dont have drop, at least what i see in first map.(it was a bug i think , now i have drop in group)
    Low density of monsters, bad drop. As a DK you need to run after them.

    well. painful mod flesh walkers do lot of damage.

    where do i find Unchastened soul to open vials in castle map. no info about them nowhere.

    i did hope that weapon is longbow.

    i dont like this event at all. will clarify that later.

    From a progress perspective, has anyone noticed a difference between the difficulties?

    I think, like other events, drops in high difficultier are drop in normal plus n
    1 (painful)
    4(inf 1)
    5(inf 2)

    i'm not sure though

    It seems the the drop for the entrance pass for the castle is much higher then before and you are not penalized for playing in group, this is a good improvement
    Obviously unique drops are low, never have i seen the book or the wand

    Do we know who drops the shield? It is listed on the entry to the 2nd map, and not on the 3rd, but is also available in the Grima shop.

    With the difference that you can "easily" get 80% crit without the crit the axe gives. I even know players that have only dmg helmet and still have over 75% crit. The only thing you need is a 4x gold lines adornement.On the contrary, longbows are crucial for a strong 1h build for arena. The only shortbow that somehow competes with them is predator, but only because it gives 20% more con, so we can use 2 EA. But even then, its like we have a unique longbow with no unique enchantment.... :(

    I get more overall drops in painful than the others (up to and including infernal 1), but that may just be my luck. The amounts of course ess/minion part/etc are higher in the more difficult levels but drop less often for me. So my progress goes fastest on painful. At least so far today.

    Currently this Unique Longbow has the highest base damage in this game
    I repeat LONGBOW

    Now ... this is the base damage of the Ghost SHORT Bow

    Are you high or something?
    That is 4 Tiers difference in base damage in favor to short bow.

    It is perfectly fine. You guys failed to notice the fine print right?
    This short bow is just a short bow in its name only.
    It is actually a long bow.
    First, it is actually long bow when you consider the attack speed of 1.00
    Then it is not good as a long bow because you don't have the 20% reduced concentration cost.
    So, it is a Long Bow worse than a regular Long Bow, but with a higher damage.
    Which is ok in my opinion. So now you have a choice of using a fourth kind of a bow.

    High on damage, low on attack speed, and no concentration bonus. I will call it a cross-bow.

    For my DK, I would prefer to see a one handed Unique Mace.

    it follows the same pattern of last 6 months while they gradually try to phase out the longbow from the game without just coming out and admitting that's whats happening

    No it is something new with probably a bugged base DMG (even tho Gwenfaras weapons always had higher enchantments values then "normal" uniques) because this is the Dwarf & mage version's_Ghost_Gun's_Ghost_Claw

    Which definatly leads to think it is bugged as it was the previous version of the Power of the alliance longbow.

    It has even higher DMG than siege bows (look @ the lower min bas dmg of Dragan's incensed bow)'s_Incensed_Bow

    Normal : x1
    Painful: x2
    Excruciating: x2
    Fatal: x2
    Infernal 1: x2
    Infernal 2: x2

    From painful there's no bonus in the drop rate (which is good because there's no need to buff the progress speed for end game players since are already farming faster than newbies because of their better equipment).
    I usually farm map 1 for the gruesom parts in FATAL because I get a better drop of andermants (nothing else is worth to mention, in the map there's just 1 miniboss therefor the drop rate of exos is extremly low).
    When I have to go in maps 2 and map 3 I step into inf 1 (because map 2 & 3 are full of special mobs which have the guaranteed exos) for better golden lines/gliphs.

    The drop of gems is pretty good in any mod I've tested (definatly higher than PW) as expected beeing event maps and having increased drop rate for Ander & gems.

    On a side note, the mobs do have very high dmg compared to PW mobs BUT the first map is a nice map if you are looking for t5 drops/ander farm.
    You can use this tecnique (descrived by Baragain); into the map there's a vendor, you can use to unload the inv bag and keep on farming since the mobs continuosly respawn (we don't have to worry about bots because the mobs in inf 2 in that map hit very hard and no bot can efficiently farm there even tho it's a decent map for them in lower mods).

    Another tip is: don't waste all your map2/castel entrance too quickly if you are looking for the challenge rewards/gwenfara's banner/cloak as the entrance for the seconnd map are pretty hard to get and, while when you use em right now you'll fasten a lot the progress event, you'll end to regret it because when the challenge will be active you SHOULD get double amount of draken cores per entrance beeing able to kill 2 bosses instead of one (not sure if Avalona drops draken cores as well, pls give me clarifications about this).

    The same day SM will get a 1-h weapon with the same range of 2-h ones and SW & SM will get 1/2-h with embedded crit rate.
